So much more respect for you guys now, this car is impossible for me to drive fast with Betty Blue's tune, 1:24.091 is the best I could do, when I could finish the race. Not sure how you guys do it!

Happy I could squeak a gold on this after a few laps, a few tweaks and not having to resort to finding a tune from the forums. Now if only I could do the same with the Lambo for the S licence tests.
That's how you learn is from other people's tunes, no shame in it, but good one anyway

Not that you guys care, since I seem to be invisible in this conversation, but the nursemorph suspension settings really helped me, I'm down to 1:22.3 now.

Damn that car is nervous. Its all over the place. Im trying Betty Blue's setup, but I can't tame the beast. Any tips? I tried setting the LSD lower, which helped a little...

I felt the exact same way. Try Nursemorph's settings, they make the car vastly easier to drive.

Suspension:

RH: 105/110
SR: 7.20/11.65
D(C): 4/5
D(E): 4/5
ARB: 5/5
TOE: -0.20/-0.10

Brakes: 8/5

LSD: 8/20/16

Aero: 200/480

Glad it's helped you. The Elise is the first time ever that other people have found my tuning useful (quite a few used it in the WRS event)!! Credit has to go to @doodlemonoply as it was his tune that I adapted to allow for my considerably less skill

I hadn't realised that the 111R could be used in this event...may have to try another go seeing as I was pretty quick with it

fun seasonal, love this track. Got down to 1:25.273, still more time to get.

my tune i used/using..

RH-66-66

Spring rate- 8.02-14.00

Comp-4-4

Extension-5-5

A/R-3-7

Camber-0-0

Toe- -0.24- -012

Brake 10-7

Max Speed- 143

Diff- 10-10-24

and max D/F front and rear.

I found this tune to be pretty stable. I tend to loose the back end accelerating out of corners. This car sticks pretty good under acceleration. I have managed a 1:21.428 with it. I am not a fast driver so it must be the car.;)

Same problem here. I've just put in these changes and it looks promising -certainly more controllable!

Ballast 116kg at -20

I'm no tuner and it probably needs suspension adjustment, but i think this'll help me top my miserable 1.23.655:lol:

...And it paid off: These changes to BettyBlue's setup has taken me to 1.21.933 and what's more important: With an appetite for more. The car is controllable with DS3 and i'm now seeing the beauty of this combo.

There's probably 0,5-1 sec. left in this, but i don't kid myself. I should be expecting more as i normally end up in top 250 if i put my mind to it -so there's bound to be more adjusted tunes out there.

Thanks to BettyBlue for the basics though:tup: Your setup helped me to an easy p119 in the previous Willow springs-TT, but this one's for aliens i think:lol:

I think there is a lot left, for me, in the trans tuning. I'm using a DS3, and auto, and several times in 4th I'm way too low in the powerband. Also, do you guys think that Skid Recovery Force will make any difference one way or the other?

Hi guys
I got a setup here that's just put me in to 12th place and there's definitely more to gain from it.

SRF makes a huge difference. With this event, I improved my time over the lap by about 2.5 seconds with SRF turned on. Doing another event this week with the WRS using the Focus ST 13 round the Brands Hatch Indy circuit and when I accidentally forgot to turn SRF off I was 2 seconds a lap quicker on that too using the same setup.

Question for: TRL-SAMURAI :What's the point for you to use two different user accounts on the same trial?
You have not thought that can harm some people?... What I find most strange is that here do not talk about that.

Put in a few laps at the weekend and managed a 1:23.272 with no driver aids. Could probably find another half second at a push, but I think that would be my limit.

Nice time can't remember my best time so far, but I know I was on the Ds3 should really get the wheel out to cut some more time off

You're sitting comfortably on top of my friends list with a 1.20.476:tup:

Won't be joining you anytime soon cos i'm really struggling with this one: 1.21.550. Using CRANK U1's setup. It's fast; I see the potential. But it's hard to drive, i restart like ten times for every lap i nail...

I would take a look at the WRS lotus setups they are very well suited to this track . Mines there too just add weight to 800kg and add turbo and stage 3
My lap looking at my ghost I had a very scrappy first half of the lap and didn't have the best run to the finish line either so there still time for me to find

You know, it just dawned on me that people might not want to share their exact tune because this is a real PD challenge. Funny thing is, I don't care to win at all, I just want to compare myself to the very best under exact circumstances, just so I can see how good/bad I really am.

I've never actually bothered to push myself during these Season Events — and it has to be said, I can see why so many of you like to push yourselves and compete against others in this fashion. Usually, I would obtain the gold trophy and then that would be it, I'd never run the time trial again.

I just had a blast 'round this track and I think I may now be hooked on hot lapping. I managed a 1:22.001 in 45 minutes of driving. I know I can do better in each sector as I've done it many times, I just haven't been able to piece it all together into one lap. When I do, I hope to be approximately one second faster.

Also, SRF is weird and I don't know how to get the best out of it yet.

i got 1:22.066 and i know i can get a high 1:21 but just keep mucking up on different parts on different laps doing my head in so i think i'm pretty much at my limit,i'm using ds3, auto, triggers, still if i can be in top 1000 at the end i'm happy anything else is a bonus and of course tied times will have me up there.....wish they would change this....anyways well done to all above me..
