Super Aguri went under when Honda pretty much blocked them from the 2008 Turkish Grand Prix, they then were merged with Honda, got a head start on the 2009 car (the one that later became the BGP 001), and then Honda left F1, Ross Brawn became the teams owner, was then bought out-right by Mercedes in late 2009, and then later became the team to beat in 2014.

Not bad for something that can trace it's roots back to Tyrrell.

Whichever way you go, forwards or backwards, the story ends at Tyrrell and begins anew at BAR. BAT bought Tyrrell purely for their entry on the grid. The actual new BAR team was completely different with different crews at a different location with different fixtures and fittings.

Tyrrell ended in 1998 and BAR began in 1999; there's no crossover except umbrella ownership.

Red Bull and Toro Rosso though, they have Stewart and Minardi DNA written all over them.
