The 11th annual GT Awards were held in Las Vegas last night, where a car on display at SEMA was chosen to be included in a future Gran Turismo game.
This year’s winner was a 1967 Chevy Nova, built by Chris Holstrom of Chris Holstrom Designs.
The car was purchased as an abandoned project in 2011 with an LS9 engine, and now features parts from Detroit Speed, Baer 6 Piston brakes, and Forgeline Wheels.
Octavio “Topo” Villafana’s baby-blue 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray won the first People’s Choice Awards, after receiving more than 2,100 votes in the public contest on Facebook.
Congratulations to Chris Holstrom and all of the category winners at the 2013 GT Awards!
