All fans of driving games should be aware of this by now, but today marks the start of a most unique race. A seat in the Dubai 24 Hours has been the ultimate prize in all GT Academy events to date but today, for the first time, the car is driven exclusively by GT Academy alumni – with 2011 winners Bryan Heitkotter and Jann Mardenborough joining Jordan Tresson and Lucas Ordoñez behind the wheel of the RJN Motorsports Nissan 370Z.
The team qualified in 4th in their SP2 class yesterday, with a best laptime of 2’10.850 and go into today’s race at 10.00 GMT (14.00 local) in 36th place on the overall grid. Fans of GT Academy might also like to keep their eyes out for the #12 AUH Motorsports Ferrari 458 (A6), driven by GT Academy judge Rob Barff and the #32 JRM Nissan GT-R GT3 (A6), driven by GT Academy and Signatech Nissan codrivers Alex Buncombe and Franck Mailleux.

CONGRATS!!! I think they should make the Dubai track available in DLC sometime soon.
Any clue why during the whole event I only got “This video is not available” for the live stream?
I saw parts of the race on you tube and in the main page with no problems. I´m in Europe.
Yes! #100 car 27th overall and 3rd in class! Congratulations to RJN Motorsports and the 4 drivers!

Spoke to him about his preparations on Radio Silverstone show – http://www.mixcloud.com/matthew-layton/matthew-layton-radio-silverstone-autosport-international-nice-people-special/
currently watching the live stream on Youtube.
where else can we watch it?
Just noticed that one of the announcers was on Need For Speed ProStreet.
Claudia Huntinger and her Saudi Falcons BMW Z4 seems strong on the lead now, with 4 stops and 1 lap advantage over the following SLS. Ferrari even running 4 seconds faster lost lot of time with several pit stops, the strategy are not rewarding them.
GT Academy team are in 42th place atm.
I’m currently streaming the live feed from YouTube.
Its all good
All the best to the GT Academy winners and to RJN Motorsports in the race…;-))…
Best of luck to them!
Good luck fellas, live the dream!!!
Now, no GT5, no dubstep, no ponies, just 24h Dubai! Go Ordonez, Tresson, Mardenborough and Heitkotter!

early problems for the Champions GT-R :-\
Two leading Ferrari 458 are already lapping some slower cars.
Its nice to see so many GT academy drivers!
Is there going to be any academy drivers or polophony showing at the Rolex 24 in Daytona this month? Either way I’m still going if my ps3 will let me….lol. I’ll bring it some pictures back.
Good luck! They won’t need it, though. The best of the best of thousands of legitimate racing contenders.
Oh and no one sing the Men in Black song. It just got stuck in my head. If you don’t know it, save yourself and don’t ever listen to it.
