Continuing the rapid-fire release schedule of September, Assetto Corsa Competizione is now available on Steam Early Access.
It all starts with one raging bull. Yes, AC Competizione features but one car right now, in the shape of the Lamborghini Huracan GT3. There’s just one track too: the Nürburgring GP circuit. The full game — which will feature the entire 2018 Blancpain GT series of drivers, cars, and circuits — will release at some point in Q1 2019.
What players are buying right now, at a discounted rate of roughly half the eventual list price, is a peak behind the curtains so to speak. Developer Kunos Simulazioni will be collecting the data and feedback from players throughout the Early Access program.
Each month, a new car/track combo will come online. In addition, Kunos will be testing new features, as well as a variety of driver rating systems. For a full breakdown of what’s coming each update, check out the full roadmap.
We’ve been lucky enough to be able to put some miles under the Huracan for the past week. The short story? We’re big fans. The long one? Click here for our hands-on impressions. To get more feedback from the GTPlanet community, check out the comments section.
We’ll be offering regular feedback each time an update drops, so stay tuned for more on AC Competizione over the coming months.
