We’re about to enter a pretty busy season for racing game releases over the next few weeks, but you’ll have to wait just a bit longer to get your hands on Dakar 18.
The open-world rally game, which was originally set for release next week on September 11th, has been delayed by two weeks. The game will now be released on Tuesday, September 25, 2018.
The announcement did come with a new gameplay trailer:
There’s time-of-day and weather changes, cars, trucks, bikes, quads, and SxS/UTVs, which you can drive across Peru, Bolivia, and Argentina in 14 different stages. For a closer look, check out nearly 15 minutes of gameplay footage released from an event in July.
According to the developers, Dakar 18 will host one of the largest open worlds in gaming. The open-route nature of the Dakar and the game should make it one of the more unique racing titles that we’ve seen in a while, and we’re looking forward to getting our hands on it.
