Last month saw Ayrton’s dominating MP4/4 land in FM6, along with six other cars in the eBay Motors Car Pack (in addition to November’s free car, the NISMO GT-R LM). For December, variety is again the order of the day, with a little something for everyone. Two modern cars – one a bruising GT, the other an insane hypercar – are joined by two 90’s racers, a late 80’s Aussie homologation special, the last Ferrari to win overall at Le Mans, and a great big chunk of 50’s Americana.
First up, one of the most-requested cars since it first showed up in the real world, the Koenigsegg One:1. Named after its power/weight ratio (1360PS pushing around 1360KG), the ‘Egg has a theoretical top speed of 273mph. Even more impressive, it’ll do 0-250mph in “around 20 seconds”. Plan on seeing a lot more of them online than exist in the real world (Koenigsegg has only built six, and all of them are sold).
The new C-Class from AMG boasts the same engine as their new halo model, the GT. The 4.0L twin-turbo V8 produces the same 503HP in this car as it does in the GT S, making it serious competition for the likes of the BMW M4 and the rest of the compact sports GT class.
Dominos promises quick deliveries of their pizzas, so they seem like a natural fit for racing sponsorship. Back in 1990, Arie Luyendyk set an average speed record of 185.981 at the Indy 500 in his Chevrolet-powered, Dominos-sponsored Lola, a record that stood for a faintly-believable 23 years. It should prove an interesting contrast to the 2015-spec Indycars currently in the game.
Rotaries have a unique, immediately identifiable sound. The four-rotor RX-7’s that ran in IMSA’s GTU class certainly do, and now Forza players can enjoy the dominating car. The #62 car won five races in 1991, its final season, eventually winning the manufacturers’ championship despite the addition of one hundred pounds of ballast mid-season.
Holden’s Plastic Fantastic shows up this month, after last month saw the older Torana. The TWR-fettled VL Commodore is the classic homologation special: built for speed not looks, the plastic bodykit reduced drag and gave the Holdens an advantage on the track. That it came in only one colour won’t be a problem for the community: expect replica liveries to pop up very quickly.
Fifty years ago, Ferrari secured the top podium spot at the 1965 24 Hours of Le Mans, thanks to NART and the driver duo of Jochen Rindt and Masten Gregory. Eschewing the typical naming scheme that Ferrari utilized at the time, the 250LM ran an enlarged, 3.3L version of the Ferrari V12. It would be the last time the famous Italian automaker won the overall race, as Ford’s GT40 began its era of dominance the year after.
Lastly, Christine. The Plymouth Fury is the star of Stephen King’s 1983 novel of the same name, as well as a movie from John Carpenter that same year. A product of the 1950’s, the Fury is loaded up with chrome and fins, and has a thoroughly awesome engine name: the Golden Commando V8. It will likely join the other early American muscle in the game as a seriously quick competitor in the lower classes online.
This pack is available today for $6.99 on XBL, and is included in the Season Pass. It also represents something of a milestone for Forza 6, as it puts the car total over 500 (ignoring the 10th Anniversary models).

I’m noticing a rollercoaster of different levels of modeling in this pack. That Holden is pretty rushed looking, from it’s sort of cheap looking interior materials(details look sort of flat) to the decidedly hexagonal headlamp/tail light bulbs, the overall car looks highly detailed but some parts looks hastily modeled.
Arrgh why on earth is that hideous trunk eyesore not removable from the Commodore? I wanted a wing and not a spoiler on that car. Good god that Egg is fast, goes like greased lightning but boy does it guzzle fuel, would barely make two laps at la Sarthe. Haven’t tried that FC/FD Mazda yet though, that Indy car though…
One thing that bothers me is any car with X999 has an unknown PI, seriously what is up with that rubbish? I know the game has a quantifiable readout so how about they cut that X999 crap and put something up that make it readable. 98% of the cars in the game has something the player can quantify, but at the extreme you want to give some oh putz at the end? Really guys come on now, been irking me since the original Forza and it’s U999 stuff.
I wish GT could get 4-rotar cars.
The great thing about this, is that you can even swap the 2.6l 4 rotor in a selection of Japanese vehicles as well.
Mobil 1 Car Pack and no sign of the Mobil 1 NSX.
This is an outrage.
(hopefully you don’t take this seriously).
A Champ Car or CART in video game form? Well that’s a first, since 2001 that is
VL Commodore and a classic Indy Car, fantastic. I would love to see a VF HSV GTS in Forza 6 one day.
Back in my day, when you bought a game, you got the full game. And if there was content missing, you’d get it for free. When I buy a game, I don’t want to have to pay extra for content that should have been included upon launch.
Back in my day when you bought a game that was it, no matter how jacked up it was. No updates and added content, I’ll take paying for new content over the “good old days.”
If you have some sort of proof that the content was ready four months ago, to be included on the disc, we’re all ears.
What does the back of the box say again? Pretty sure it says you get 460 cars, and that’s what you get. The full game.
Back in my day, when you bought a game, that was it, no opportunity to increase the content or scope of the game and you were stuck with it, for good or bad, until they released the next one. No new cars, no new tracks, no other stuff. I’ll take “this day” any day.
Back in my day when you bought a game, it was either for Atari or Atari.
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, The imsa GTU RX-7! That car alone is worth the seven dollars. You did it again turn10, yet another amazing car pack. You xbone guys are so lucky.
If you can’t afford it, don’t buy it. Just don’t expect T10 to constantly be giving you freebies. I mean, people work their nuts off to bring the car loving community great cars and all some people do is complain about them costing $7 per pack? What can you buy for $7??
Seriously, get a job, pay your way or don’t buy. Simple as.
I agree mate.
@Situation1994 Seriously!??! You can buy the pack for $7! Or individually for like $1! Give me a break man. Turn10 are paying employees to develop these cars and you expect it for free? Is 1994 the year you were born? Must be right around that time where the kids that were born developed a ridiculous sense of entitlement. SMH…..
It does seem a little odd since the consoles are still rather expensive.
I only got the XB1 in October, i been saving for years since at least the announcement, if not before that, so yes, i do have a lot of problems with my financial stuff, so no i can’t afford the DLC packs, and thus far before this pack there was 1 car free in both the packs, so why not here?
Not even a free car, seriously T10, why you doing this to all the people who cant afford the car pass nor the seperate packs :(
Quite an interesting pack, for once.
I bet most of the ‘Egg drivers can’t use it without TCS.
That RX-7. Another solid pack.
Even though it’s already said, it bears being repeated: Christine!!!
Christine!!!
