Congradulations for another week completed.
Nice racing fellas... some very fast times this week in all divisions.

CarbonFiber Man, Cinjun8 and NielsG taking their respective division wins with CFM coming out on top overall.
Congradulations to all of you.

Promotion time.
Also, say hello to the newest division 1 racer: Cinjun8. You had been running at div 1 speed before you left... this week was your walk to the podium, if you're gonna stick around, you're gonna have to earn that next win. ;)
Congrats on the move up, you earned it.

I will be looking forward to seeing some of the replays, as others have already mentioned the same to me. :D

Please post any replays, data or discussions in this thread.

Thanks for racing, hope you had fun!

By the way,

How do you guys like that?
I came in last place in my division (fitting for my efforts).
However, even with knowing that I was in last place, I still posted my race time. 👍

How's that for not punking out?
Not that any of you guys did... frankly, if you're here to see your results, then obviously you didn't punk out. 👍

So thanks again for racing.
And that goes to all of you, all the racers in all of the divisions, from the blazing fast to the still learning.

Thanks again, and...
Later. :D

Oh btw, my phone line that was disconnected will be replaced before the week's end, so I will return. :D

Hi!

Congratulations for you all, some very fast times there!

This race was fun. Was a great combo. The only bad thing was the first sector. Many times I lost there my traction and I crashed to a wall or spinned. But I managed to drive through the first sector clean.

Kent, I don´t think that you have anything to worry about. :D
If I would been you, I wouldn´t posted my time. But I´m just me, I need to worry about demotions and stuff.
But hey, again, congrats to all finishers!!

nice work guys, some great times. congrats to carbon fiber man for the win, and to everyone who raced. i really enjoyed this week, i had fun.
one thing though, i think we need to do some recruiting for div 3, we need to get some more racers in.

Cmon ppl, dont be scared of the big,bad fast guys, come slumming with us div 3 guys, we still have fun

oopps, i missed the deadline.... ohh well maybe next time ill get the podium. ill post my replay later anyways so we can compare, its a 1'09.4xx.

Congrats to all of you. I'm rather happy with my ranking for my first weekly event, and here is my replay in case anybody cares.
I'm too lazy (I should say busy) to search and I wondered how promotion to an upper division is done ? For instance NielsG has a time close to mine, but we're running in 2 different divisions. Does he need to improve his time with the Lancer on Midfield in order to reach div 2 ?

Here's my replay for this week. It has a very close call on the left before T1 but the front tire has a sliver of rubber on the track at the apex, I checked it several times to be sure. The rest of the lap is nice and clear by a good margin. Glad I could help some of you with the setup.:) I normally don't even bother with the gear trick, but gearing is so critical on the Honda VTEC's so it was a must have in this case. There's a definate 1:08 to be had here, but I spent way too much time getting this run since I'm not too good at Deep Forest:irked: See you all at Tokyo:cool:

Edit: I forgot to mention congrats to Cinjun for the promotion and NielsG for the nice run as well.

Congrats All!!!
:D Excellent times in all Divisions with a really phun ride. Without looking back thru all the results this looks like one of the closest races ever with all drivers in a 3 second Bracket! 👍

Thanx again to CFM for posting an excellent set-up! I had limited time to "Fiddle" this week so was able to get some Laps in instead. Wanted dearly to get in the "09" Bracket but I "think" my only sub "10" run had 3 tires "Off" for just a Nanosecond. :banghead: Wouldn't have been enough to best GT3mich anyway. :(
See Y'All next week...UB57 :D

There is much to learn in a replay, especially when it concerns Div 1 winner and settings poster ;), but I wonder if there is some x-port trick to read it on a PAL console. I doubt renaming the .sps in .xps would be enough, and sorry guys I didn't do a search yet.

Edit : I did a search but it wasn't useful. I learned 50 times what Sharkport and X-port are, but nothing new to me.

Unfortunately you can only view PAL replays on PAL machines and NTSC on NTSC machines. Believe me, there are about 1000 PAL replays I'd like to see:banghead:

Congrats to the fast guys (define it yourself).
And to those of us, who had fun. 👍

Thanks to Kent for a very nice race. In the start I was sceptical, and when people started to praise the car, I seriously doubted, I was in the right car. Later when I familiarized with both car and track, I started to enjoy it very much. A great example of a suitable frustration level. :D

Thanks to CFM for sharing his settings, and to flat-out for the competition that made me try a little more, after I achieved my original target time. :)

That's a pity. I wish I had some available time to deeply look at this and make some conversion utility... Maybe in 2050 ???

We were already close in the Mini Cup, I think we'll provide competition to each other for a long time... That's indeed an extra motivation : my goal is not only to lap as fast as I can, but to lap faster than you when possible ;).
After a few hundred years practising like this perhaps we'll both lap close to CFM's or Mr. P's times

Congrats to CFM on the win:tup:. Here is the only other sub 1'10 replay:mischievous:
Even though PAL and NTSC are incompatible formats, I download PAL replays so I can read the car set ups sometimes. That is another way to get faster. I didn't bother posting mine this week because it was pretty close to CFM's. Interesting eh!

Hi,
Nice racing by all this week!
Thank You for the promotion Kent.I do plan on being around
every week. I will put up my replay if anyone would like to see it.
Once again,Thanks!

Later,
cinjun8

wow, missed it. oh well, I just didn't want to get into any Honda machine to win the S2000 so I'll make up for it this week.

I do the same but I had nothing to learn from CFM's settings this week : he posted them during the week and I was using them in the lap I submitted.
It's also useful sometimes to discover that someone used forbidden parts or tires.
