I was just flicking through a couple of screens from the past week and I came across a couple of the Main Menu screen of GT4 that KY was demonstrating at E3. I was trying to make out some of the icons. I think I've got most of them, but there's a few that I can't make out.

BLACK ICONS - LEFT TO RIGHT
1. Event Hall
2. Licence Centre
3. Arcade Arena
4. Single Race
5. Power & Speed
6. Safety Driving Park
7. Drift Contest

ORANGE ICONS - LEFT TO RIGHT
1. Car Town
2. Secondhand Car Shop
3. Classic Car Shop
4. Museum
5. GT Auto
6. Tuning World
7. Flea Market

BLUE ICONS - LEFT TO RIGHT
1. Garage
2. Online Reception
3. Hall of Fame
4. Concert Hall
5. Civic Centre
6. Information
7. Bank of GT
8. Parking?
9. Paint Shop
10.Travel Office

I searched for 'resort', 'resorts, and 'main menu'. I found no threads the same as this topic. Which topic/thread are you refering to?

Funny thing is that most things that have been discust are deep in long threads and hard to find. It was done in another thread somewhere.

Thanks for the feedback.

Most of the icons would seem self explanatory. Some just create more speculation.

Bank of GT?
Flag Marshal?
Paint Shop? - Does this mean we can change the car's paint colour to anything we like??

Power & Speed? possible dyno included in the machine test.

Also the possiblity that you wont know the cars power after mods untill you dyno it?

Maybe flag marshal is a place where you the person who waves the chequerd(sp?) flag at the end of a race!

If you watch the E3 demonstation vid, KY said it was Flea Market not flag marshal.

So orange icons No.7 = Flea Market.

First blue from the left is Home, not Garage. Same thing. More or less.

Hmmm Paint Shop? About time. :)

Travel Office must be the photo mode.

Parking? Now that one is odd. Some kind of car storage? I doubt it.

GT Auto must be for oil changes and the car wash... Also fuel?

Flea Market for used car parts? Maybe hard to get parts for older cars? Rare parts? That could be very interesting indeed. Would make cars more unique.

Your number7 is not flag marshall, it's flea market, which leaves number 2 which I still can't work out and I haven't seen if anyone else has got it yet.

No, save the image and zoom in, it starts with an O so I would guess it's online network but I can't make out enough of the other letters.

Ya know, it seems that the menu presented there is Sim mode and Arcade mode all combined into one. Unline the others that had buy car and tunnign in sim mode only and u had to eget out of sim mode, this one combines them all.

It's not an ingame menu screen, it's chart showing all the modes they will include in GT4.

The fact that it doesn't fit in with any of the ingame screens shown in style, and the lack of a pointer (selector or whatever) along with a couple of other pics in the slide show not being in the game but just highliting some of the new features pretty much says it's not the games main menu. I'm sure theres a demo pic of the GT universe menu around that was shown at the E3 anyway.

No, it's not that it's a proper GT style menu with a map and icons spread out on it.

I tend to agree. The screen isn't consistent with other UI screens.
WTF is the 'Civic Centre' for?

S13, if you hate the Honda Civic, the "Civic Center" may not be for you. To me (by the way, this is new to me), I think GT4 has really gotten more realistic. Maybe instead of racing cars and acquiring licenses, I think GT4 will be the best in the series because it will allow you to do much more than just race. Now if you ask me, I LOVE auto racing, love it to death do me part. But sometimes, I just want to mellow out and try some other stuff. I even just look at cars at the car dealers. Maybe even play a race preview while I'm doing something else. It is going to be a wonderful game.

When I first heard of "Gran Turismo Resorts," I thought...

A.) PD owning vacation land and calling it the Gran Turismo Resorts, complete with race track and plenty of cars

B.) While I'm playing GT4, Japanese race queen cuties are going to spoil me with goodwill and charm for my impressive racing style.

Or maybe I've taken too many whacks to the head...
