Week 3 - GTPlanet NFL Pool

Submit all picks before kickoff please. Preferably the winning teams this time. Home teams in bold.

Sunday, September 25

Atlanta (1-1) vs. Buffalo (1-1)

Cincinatti (2-0) vs. Chicago (1-1)

Jacksonville (1-1) vs. New York Jets (1-1)

Tampa Bay (2-0) vs. Green Bay (0-2)

New England (1-1) vs. Pittsburgh (2-0)

New York Giants (2-0) vs. San Diego (0-2)

Atlanta Falcons - It's gonna be close, but Losman is a chump
Cincinatti Bengals - Bengals have a lot going for them
Jacksonville Jaguars - This one will be close. Leftwich might still have some pain, and Pennington still blows. The Jags' D-line will dominate, however, and I feel that will disrupt pennington and the running game.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Green Bay sucks.
Pittsburgh Steelers - The Steelers will steamroll the Pats. I believe they will win the superbowl this year
NY Giants - It's a tough call. I'd say NY just for their record. I reall don't know.

Question: Why do you only put up a few picks? What about the other games?

Colts over Browns
Dolphins over Panthers
Titans over Rams
Saints over Vikings
Cowboys over 49ers
Eagles over Raiders
Seahawks over Cardinals
Cheifs over Broncos.

Sigh. I pick a few to try and select the best games, and also games that are tough to choose a winner in. Do you guys want me to put up every game every week?

Thanks, having all the games will be sweet. If it gets to be too much to handle, you can always pm me to help.

Just check out the espn scoreboard. It's easier than you think.

Looks like I'm going to be 5-1 this week.

I'd rather have gone 1-5 though as long as the Steelers won. :( That game was a heartbreaker.

Friggin' crap. The one week I go against New England, in the game they were most likely to lose as well, they win. :grumpy: Ah well, another mediocre 3-3 for me.

9-4, and most likely 10-4 after tommorow.

The ones I lost were pretty close, though. Notice how the dolphins' wins already halfway to last season's total. ;)

We're going places, baby. 👍

Yeah, the Chiefs got killed. I tuned out at 20-0, sometime in the 2nd.

How about those Vikings? They finally showed how they can play, and the defense played very good. I hope they can keep it up.

Haha^ the Saints don't suck. They have a very formidable offense, and the Vikings D played well. I just hope they can keep it up, as I've said many times that I think the Vikings will make some noise into the playoffs this year. :dopey:

Vikings? Playoffs? SURE. I guess the Dolphins will be superbowl champs, then.

The vikings will be a major contender next year. The team still has a little Randyphilia.

Well at least you believe that they have the talent to do some damage. I think they can still get their act together this year, and maybe sneak into the playoffs. The NFC North is quite weak, from the looks of it right now the "best" team there is the Lions. 9-7 could get the Vikings a division win.

On another note, you guys hear about Rodney Harrison? He tore all 3 ligaments in the same knee. :scared: He's gone for the rest of the season, at least. Once again, the Patriots will have to see how well they can play with loads of injuries.

Damnnnn. That blows.

I really don't think the patriots are going places this year. They're gonna be like the Rams after they won their superbowl. They won't suck, but they won't be superbowl champions. I honestly think the Colts or Steelers (or Dolphins :D ) will be AFC champions.

We'll see.
