from what i've seen, many people have been wondering and been talking bout which car is best. the R8 seems to be a winner, but this battle right here between the Pesky 2004 vs. Mazda 787B hasn't really be said........

so i'm asking you guys, which is the true winner? the 787B, or the Pesky C60?

My time with my 787B at the Nurb is 5:38:36 and the time there with my Pesky is 5:41:47.......does that say anything? i myself have looked into the testing of the cars by the people that have done it.

so can people please post their opinions here because i'm pretty sure it will help lots of other racers :)

for me, i think the Mazda 787B is the winner for me now, even though i was in the pesky seat for awhile. I'm now a Mazda 787B driver :sly:

Defenitely the 787b.
It sounds fantastic, it looks very cool and its also one of the fastest cars in the whole game.

Seeing as the 787B is overall, one of, if not the fastest LM car in GT4, and easily beats the R8 in the enduros thanks to its fast lap times and better gas milaege and as the R8 outperforms the Peskys, then clearly the 787B is going to outperform the Pesky in most situations. However in some of the short races, where the AI LM cars are fitted with soft tires, the 787B is forced to pit while the Peskys often do not, thus losing to them.

Overall, however, its hard to go wrong with the 787B, and in any head to head match in equal hands, and where both cars pit, I'd always put my money on the Mazda to win.

IMO the Pesky is a more nimble car than the 787B which makes it a good choice for races on tight race tracks, but other than that the 787B is much better.

After just purchasing the Pescarolo Playstation C60 [I'm not sure if there's much a difference between the Courage and Playstation versions, aside from power], and driving 787s for a good portion of the game, I'll first say I have a biased opinion. :D

While the C60 is quite a car indeed, it lacks driving "character", which is not the case to me with the 787. Also, having less power than the 787 stock-for-stock, it comes up short in acceleration.

The C60 is an excellent car, I just used it on the 4 Hour Nurb endurance. Fantastic handling.

But I own 8 787s for a reason. :D

Did you just say you own 8 787B's?

I'd put my butt in the seat of a 787B over the Pesky everytime, to be honest...I've raced the Peskys once each and since never touched them because I've prefered the likes of the 787B and Beamer V12

driving the pesky for quite sometime was fun, but now i'm driving the 787B like crazy and was it a good choice. the car is easy to handle and sounds nice 2 :)

I love the Pesky C60, but I prefer the 787B because of the durabilty (long stints with no pitting neccessary). That is a nice pic of the 2 Mazda's in a close battle! BTW the Beamer V12 is one that you don't hear much about, who uses that?

On the track, the Pescarolo.

Even though the 787B is showing it's age technologically-wise, It's definately the most historical considering it was the world's first japanese car to win the LeMans 24-hour in 1991. 👍

Gotta go with the Mazda, very nice car, even though mines in the black livery :indiff:

One thing Law93, if this thread is still proving popular you could always have a poll to go along with it. 👍

787B is an excellent car. The carbon black version looks really hairy. The only thing I dislike about it is that it only has five speeds. I like more gears. I'd go with the Mazda over the Pesky and have already done so in many races.

oh yeah, what about the Nissan R92CP? hows that car compared to the 787B? (seems like the 787B is winning everyone)

The only thing the R92CP has on the 787B is speed, but that's it.
