Welcome to my Photoden!

Hi you all, who decided to take peek here. This place will be home for my photos and artistic stuff. I'm not a pro, but I will definitely try to improve my photomode skills ( or the lack of them).

Anyways, here are the few first ones. They are bit plain and mostly about drifting this far, but I'll try to get some nicer shots in the future.

Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R "Gran Turismo" (938 bhp)

( will be updated as soon as I upload the rest of the pics.)

hehe, the next ones are Fiat 500R and AM V8 vantage, both going sideways. funny thing is, AM weights about 4 times as much as Fiat, and has almost 5 times the power too..

Looking forward to the Fiat 500, I did an update of the 500 yesterday :) (avatar).

when 300bhp, 1000kg+ turbocharged car isn't enough..

Aston Martin V8 Vantage is your best friend. (1910kg's, 550bhp, twin superchargers)

Wicked Fiat 500 pictures, you've inspired me to do a proper Fiat 500 update since my other one was two Photoshopped pictures :)

Thanks. it's perky little goer, and thanks to RR layout, it's really fun car to drive. not too powerful, agile and grippy ( and slippy too if you get frisky with it :D )

how many versions do you think there is of the fiat 500. i have about 3 500F's 2 500R's and 1 500R that had and extra front brushguard. nice pics by the way

"GT-R Patrol" vs."Renegade RoadRunners"

Recently formed highway elite patrol had proved itself in various occasions. Their GT-R patrol cars, having multiple power levels for different purposes, were able to chase down most powerful, well tuned roadcars in the dimly lighted roads of this anonymous asphalt jungle.
They also dealt with car thieves but sometimes, car thieves did put up a fight that gave even the GT-R patrols run for the money, like in this case..

Lucas and Tom, who were pretty fresh in this elite patrol, were returning to the carage, when their radio awakened. "Attention all units, we received a call from car show guards. Some group had broken in and stolen various cars from the show, mostly racecars."

Lucas and Tom were returning to the carage, when their radio awakened..

Tom replied to the call, while Lucas put the lights and sirens on, stomping on the throttle."HA! finally something better than stopping drunken old geezers!"

Lucas put the lights and sirens on, stomping on the throttle.

Soon they were speeding thru empty roads of this anonymous urban area, and continuously they listened the guidance from the radio. Suddenly, they passed one of the cars, slightly modified concept of 350Z, by an accident. They hardly even noticed it.
"I think we can get them all if we manage to find their leader and stop him." Lucas said, focusing on the road in front of them.
Then they spotted a flash of brakelights, and soon they were tailgating a racecar. "What is that..? 3-series?" Lucas asked, and Tom nodded. "It seems to be BMW 320 from BTC's.. Let's keep going. The boss will probably drive something more special."

It seems to be BMW 320 from BTC's..

They left the 320 behind, gaining two cars further ahead. Soon they recognized them as S2000's, other was racecar, and second was tuner car.
"Geeze.. they really tried to get big money, didn't they.. Guide other units on these, we'll keep searching the.. wait, look at that one in front of us? It looks a bit like old Silvia of some kind, and in race paint.."

It looks a bit like old Silvia of some kind, and in race paint..

"It's Silvia RS from mid 80's! That must be their boss!" Tom said, quickly giving directions to headquarters, then gripping the edge of his seat as Lucas tossed the car into gracious slide so he could keep up with the old, yet fast rallycar.

Lucas tossed the car into gracious slide so he could keep up with the old, yet fast rallycar.

"Damn.. That old girl has some kick in her engine, have to admit.. " Lucas muttered, as Silvia seemed to keep the distance as it was. "It also has shorter gear ratios and weights mere a ton", Tom added.

That old girl has some kick in her engine, have to admit.

Slowly but certainly they crept closer the rallycar, that kept sprinting ahead of them."It's slower in corners. Must be because of FR layout.. He has kept his lines neat though." Lucas said and Tom nodded. Radio awakened once more. "The group that broke in to the car show has been identified as Renegade RoadRunners, known for multiple hits on car shows. They're suspected for stealing Tein's Civic Si democar, as well as multiple others. Stay aware, they're skilled drivers, and their leader is known for reckless driving."

It's slower in corners..

"He's pulling away!" Tom said, as the Silvia started to increase the gap. Lucas frowned and buried the throttle. "..Not for long!" Soon they were blasting thru deserted roads, in a lethal duel of skill.

Silvia started to increase the gap..

Concrete jungle was echoing from the roar of the engines, accompanied by high-ptched squeal of tyres and black marks on tarmac, as they slided thru corners at daringly high speeds. Tom kept his mouth shut, looking at the old rallycar that started to grow bigger as they reeled it in. "Their leader is good.. but so is Lucas."

Their leader is good.. but so is Lucas.

Lucas kept the car steady in long drifts, gaining the old Silvia. He could already see that the leader of triple-R was nervous, since his driving had become sloppy. "You thought you could shake me, didn't you..?" Lucas grinned.

Lucas kept the car steady in long drifts.

Soon they were tailgating the Silvia, and Lucas added the pressure, flashing his hi-beams. "This is highway, not drive-in! Get on the throttle!" They were doing nearly 120mph and the gap just got shorter and shorter.

Lucas was bit too excited and had too much speed when they arrived to next corner. Silvia sticked to the inside, but Lucas and Tom went wide, almost hitting the wall. "that was close..! hey.. I know this corner, there's a straight ahead!"

Silvia sticked to the inside, but Lucas and Tom went wide, almost hitting the wall.

the straight opened in front of them, and Silvia went flat out, followed closely by GT-R. "He can't get away anymore!" Lucas sneered as he slipstreamed the rally car, throwing in bigger gears. Just before hitting the Silvias rear, he swerved a bit, and they were side by side. "His run is over now.." Tom said, grinning widely as Lucas placed his car in front of the thief, forcing him to slow down.

The End.

Excellent chase story, Leo, I've never seen something like that done from GT4's PhotoMode - and it's done very well indeed, I love the style :) and the shots do look very much like the angles that would be seen in, say, a car chase scene from a film or suchlike. The use of slow shutter speeds for effect is good too. Keep it up! 👍

very nice and amusing story Leo 👍 very well done, hope we'll see some more stories from the GT-R Patrol......keep on the good work!

R32 GT-R V-Spec II @ Seattle

Here's a small photo exhibition from seattle, using my beloved R32 GT-R V-Spec II'94

Glare of the Godzilla.. :scared:

Eat your heart, General Lee!:mischievous:

Subtle commercials in these last shots....

I like a few of these ones in particular! The first one in the third row shows off Black NisMo Rims nicely, and the third shot in the third row makes it seem the car has just drifted a square-right corner :dopey: The fifth one in row three shows that it might've done after all

I like the General Lee shot :P

The last one is my favourite of the NisMo shouters, I just love this car going sideways :D but the afterburner shot comes a close second.

Despite all of these being a little dark, it's a good, imaginative update 👍

I did them bit dark on purpose, after all, it's late evening in seattle, and making them brighter would had ruined the effect. I'm glad that you liked these.

about next target: Possibly RS6 Avant.

okay...now I gotta find a pen device for my pics.

cute timing. i'm outa room for pics on MY mem card :P

Allright, time for an update!

Unlike I said earlier, I didn't do Audi RS6, but yet another R32 GT-R V-Spec II'94 photoshoot, this time from a race. Gentlemen, Start your engines!

Skyline vs Premium Sportscars

Lucas had always liked racing and GT-R's. When he wasn't at duty in GT-R Patrol, he was cruising around in his old yet reliable R32 GT-R V-Spec II'94, or taking part into trackdays and car meets. Despite the fact that his car was hopelessly outdated as far as other trackday participants were concerned ( whom he successfully proved to be wrong in racetrack), he kept his car stock except the rims, that were rare NisMo products.

Another weekend off-duty, another weekend at track. Lucas had driven his car on the grid already, on the sixth spot. He was sitting in his car and listened the engine, preparing mentally to the race. There would be two laps around Grand Valley Speedway, his favourite track. He knew every corner and rumblestrip of this track as well as the back of his hand.

Lucas had heard that some rich blokes with nice cars would come around this time, and he was going to see what those office rats could do on track with their powerful, luxurious cars. He followed as the cars drove past him, taking their spots.
First car in the grid was pretty rare British sportscar, TVR Cerbera Speed Six. Next to it got another rare Briton, huge, yet sleek and threatening looking Aston Martin V8 Vantage. On third place was M5, and Lucas felt slightly worried. He had heard pretty creepy stories about this german Übersedans performance on highways. On fourth spot there was M-B SL55 AMG, and he knew already that SL55 wouldn't form a threat to him. But the real shock parked right next to him: AC Cobra SC! "Yikes..! I think that this one might be a handful.." He looked at the ominous looking sleek roadster, admiring it.

Soon bell announced that the countdown had been initiated. The revs started to rise and drop, as the drivers were searching proper area from the powerband for the launch.

GREEN LIGHT!

Lucas had launched from very high revs, trusting on the clever ATTESA-ETS-system. His car darted off the line, where as the more powerful RWD's got much wheelspin. Lucas slipped past heavy SL55, and so did the Cobra. Big, twin-supercharged Aston Martin wasn't too much trouble either as he went inside for the corner, following the Cobra closely. M5 had already taken the lead from the TVR, accelerating towards the exit accompanied with F1-like howl from it's naturally aspirated V10.

Lucas kept the wheels turned tightly, and saw the HICAS-light flashing, and he felt how his cars turn got slightly tighter as the advanced Super HICAS all wheel steering turned the rearwheels bit more, helping the car to stick ot the road while turning even tighter. During the corner, he managed to slip past of the fierce looking Cobra, that had understeered severely. "Hmmm..7l V8 in the front isn't good for corners.." Lucas chuckled as he saw the Cobra's rear wiggle as the rear tyres were trying to keep the traction as the Vantage almost traded paint with the smaller vintage cabriolet. He left them to their little squabble and accelerated after his next victim, Cerbera Speed Six.

"God damn what a bunch of wussies! They should stick to the office and have drivers for themselves.. They don't even try flooring it!" Lucas thought as he quickly gained the more powerful and lighter TVR. He drafted it shortly before swinging himself past. "Sheesh.."

Now, only obstacle between him and victory was that howling supersedan, that was way ahead of him. Lucas floored the throttle and left the TVR biting his dust, concentrating on the german autobahn blitzer.
After few corners, he was in drafting position, but at the exit, Lucas noticed that BMW's 507 bhp were doing their job well, and that close-ratio 7-speed SMG didn't miss a shift either. He was hanging on the tail of the M5, grinning as he saw the driver looking at him via rearview mirror.

"Keep your eyes on road, amateur.." Lucas grinned as he saw the driver still glancing at him every now and then. He hit his brakes and swerved tightly to left, hitting the apex of the corner. The M5 went wide as the driver hadn't been watching ahead, and Lucas guided his more nimble car to the lead! "Ha haa! Take that, Break My Windows!" He shouted gleefully.

Lucas started to increase the gap at every corner. Super HICAS, combined with ATTESA-ETS Pro made his car more nimble than any other AWD, including Lan-Evos and Imprezas of that era. Soon he was flying far ahead of the others, relaxing slightly as he entered the second lap.

But in the middle of second lap, he was startled by a nasty surprize, as the familiar howl of high-revving V10 returned. He glanced at the mirror, just to see the familiar kidney mask of an M5. "Damn! When did he get that close?!"

"His tires must have warmed up by now, that's why he gained me.." Lucas reasoned, flooring the throttle again for the few final corners. "You're good on straights, but corners are mine, bimmerboi! Look and learn!" Lucas growled as the BMW scooted next to him. He turned into corner, followed closely by the big sedan, that suddenly had started to go just as fast as the M-badge promised.

The M5 started it's final assault right in the final corner. It managed to snatch the inside, but Lucas pulled ahead with his lighter car, and got back in front of the M5, thus sealing his victory as he flew past finish line with small, yet satisfying margin.
