Notice : I was looking for a GT4 equivalent to the famous real-life "Super Lap" challenge on Tsukuba circuit, and the only thing I came across here at GTP was nitro_2005's Tsukuba Super Lap Challenge, which looks pretty much dead, mainly because its ranking hasn't been updated since March 31st.
In addition to that, I think that the car selection over there wasn't very clear, and that the lack of replay request added to the general vague and blurry atmosphere.
So I thought I should give the concept another try and set up the :
Game mode :
GT Mode / World Courses / Tsukuba Circuit / Free run
Car specifications :
any japanese domestic market road car with the following restrictions :
Standard clean OLR rules :
Post your best times in the thread and make sure you indicate what car you used.
It's a permanent challenge : there is no deadline.

In addition to the overall 'no limit' board, times are split in different categories depending on the car used :
Fastest overall times and fastest times per category will have to be backed up by a replay :
The record holder street car at Tsukuba is the Mitsubishi Cyber Evo, with a fastest lap at 55.801, see the first 2 minutes of the video below.
(there's no need to reply and mention the HKS that ran 54.739 : it's NOT a street car and it was designed only to break that record.)

- displacement lower than 2,050 cc ;
- all power upgrades allowed ;
- no NOS ;
- weight reduction stage 3 ;
- wing allowed ;
- sports tyres only ;
- all other parts are allowed.
Standard clean OLR rules :
- 2 wheels on track at all time ;
- rumble strips are part of the track ;
- any tarmac, concrete or cobblestone area is part of the track ;
- no contact with walls or objects, visible or invisible ;
- if you're not 100% sure that you lap is clean, then consider it dirty ;
- no hybrids ;
- no cheating of any kind ;
- nothing that goes against the spirit of the rules ;
- save your replay ('save ghost' icon).

- 2 litre : cars with a displacement ranging from 1,850 to 2,049 cc (96 cars) ;
- 1.8 litre : cars with a displacement ranging from 1,650 to 1,849 cc (22 cars) ;
- 1.6 litre : cars with a displacement ranging from 1,450 to 1,649 cc (40 cars) ;
- under 1.6 litre : cars with a displacement smaller than 1,450 cc (49 cars) ;
- midgets : cars with a displacement smaller than 800 cc and a total length smaller than 3650 mm (32 cars) ;
- rotaries : cars with a rotary engine (22 cars, excluded from the displacement-based categories) ;
- 6 cylinders : cars with a 6-cylinder engine (15 cars) ;
- FF : front engine, front wheel drive (81 cars) ;
- FR : front engine, rear wheel drive (83 cars) ;
- MR : midship engine, rear wheel drive (13 cars) ;
- 4WD : four-wheel drive (49 cars) ;
Fastest overall times and fastest times per category will have to be backed up by a replay :
- all 10 fastest overall times will be requested to provide a replay ;
- all 3 fastest times per category will be requested to provide a replay too ;
- requested replays must be uploaded within 7 days ;
- failure to do so will result in the submitted time to be removed from the board ;
- video replays are not accepted, only .max, .xps or .sps files can be verified.

was wondering if you might put up GT mode and Arcade mode as 2 seperate results boards
