Very easy... Break earlier...đź‘Ť Slow in fast out and clear lines...

I think I'll join the lesser gods instead of the big ones like ANK, Slotcarrod and 66.:sly:
Does GT4 come with N1s+spikes
In that case I'll take a copy. ;)

Endurance Tokyo R246 60 laps against Mazda RX7, (lineup 4/5 or so) with the GSX and loads of power upgrades and Wing on R1s. 200 points.
I won this race back in August for 171 and then retried for 200 several times but no deal, kept losing. Today must have been a lucky day.

Well I can't blame you for not doing some PITA races...

About Saleen... put some brake, tranny and suspension upgrades, 9000 miles on the clock, 200 ballast and N2/N3... I don't recall this race being so difficult... Switching from N1/N3 to N2/N3 with some more engine wear makes a lot of difference...đź‘Ť

About N1s in general it's difficult in the begining until you get used to them...
After that they are OK. You just have to adapt your driving style to less grip...
Breaking earlier and geting used to some slower cornering speeds is a great start...

Hit 100K about a month or two back. I thought I would keep it exactly even:nervous: , but couldn't resist running the 24hrs at the 'Ring and Mission 34 to hit 100%.
I've still got a bunch of Enduros to Aspec, as well as most of the Formula series, 1K miles! and most of the All Stars.
Three more golds and I'll have all the cars in the game. Not sure If I'll bother with 10K Bspec, I'll probably leave that for last.
It's gotten to the point where I can't imagine running a race for less than 200 Aspec.
The 100K quest certainly renewed my interest in GT4, and has kept me busy for a good year or so.
I originally thought the game was too easy after blasting my way through 1pt races.:dunce:
Tougher races are much more rewarding. :D Thankfully the wife is very understanding.:)
Lately, I've been working on the World Classics with the S600 and I think I've finally found the All Stars killer.đź’ˇ
Definately some good race reports to put together, I've saved quite a few replays.

Stay tuned, I aint quite done yet!

Thanks,
Johnny A

Congrats, excellent achievement đź‘Ť
Good to see more members 'admitting' to the fact they're A spec nutters. :sly: Hope to see more of you in this forum. I'm sure you can lend a helping hand and we'll try to help you too.

I just hit 100,000+, 100,315 to be exact. I do not have no screenshot as I don' have the equipment or knowhow to do that. I just finished the MG Festival for 180 pts. each, please tell me that's the max. I have given up on that stupid Roadster Endurance for now. I'm goin' to do these non 200 pointers and a few of them that require oil burning. Thanks to all for such a great idea with this forum, and even more thanks to those that share their info.

Congrats đź‘Ť, to make it official, well according to the 'rules' set by Route in post #1, a screenshot is requested. :sly:

The max for each race is listed in the appropriate thread in this forum.

Please try to stay on topic within each thread, to help you out, this section doesnt belong here

Hi Route, long time no read... :)

Race by race...point by point... until you collect all possible points which is 111813 as you can see in ANK's and Route_66's signiture...:

I am curious to know if this is a screenshot figure? If so, where it is in this thread? I may have just overlooked it, but the highest screenshot number I've seen is 109,710.

I think it would be beneficial to add a high score category of screenshots in this forum, or something like it, for easier access and up to date progress of players say maybe over 111,000 or 111,500.

Just a thought.

There's actually only 12 registered members in this thread that have managed to go > 100k. 3 of those have reached max (111.813) and one is soon to join.
I don't understand why you would think a new thread for >= 111k would be helpful
10 of those are mentioned in the 1st post.

Referring to my original question, I wanted to know if they are screenshot figures, and if so, where are they?

My suggestion was made because the screenshots are not with those mentioned in the 1st post, of which you speak.
However, that would be a good and logical location and would not require a new thread. Also I assumed that many more would be joining as time goes by. Maybe not.

Case in point, Fizio has posted a screenshot HB (Thanks BTW) which appears to be in the original 200 point thread.
The others are propably in there somewhere too.

All I'm saying is it would be nice to have them all in one place, which I thought was the whole purpose of reorganizing the 200pt thread. Make stuff more organized and easier to find.

OK I get you now. Thing is Route_66 doesn't visit GTP a lot anymore. In fact most who have either reached 100K or max have since then not been active in this forum.
No one except a moderator would be able to edit Route's post and I wouldn't like to burden them with it.
So the next best thing I can do is this.

Maximum A-spec points reached 111.813.

Sir Berra is humbly demanding (an oxymoronic statement) entrance into the high muckymuck 100,000 A-spec nutter's Club and you can also enroll me in the 100% Club and 80 Gold License Club while your at it. Any other strange clubs I should know about that requires a screen shot.

I might as well join the club, although I'm really not quite finished searching for unfinished races. Plus I need to test if this screen shot displays correctly:

There is a 80 gold licence thread out there somewhere, but this, the "A-spec nutter's Club" is a much more elitist / fun club. :sly:

Having done the 80G in a previous game and now attempting the 200 pointers, in comparison I have to agree, at least with the elitist part. I 'm not so sure about the fun part.

Congrats to Sirberra BTW. đź‘Ť

Are you joining us here? If so welcome.

I'll let you in on the secret, the fun part comes AFTER you've made the 200/250/max points, not necessarily before.;)

I'd kill to be able to get 80 gold but the 2 🤬 🤬 🤬 slalom tests and a couple offroad tests I'll never make, not even silver, not even close.

@ Sirberra, you could join the premiites (spelling?) as Famine calls us. $40 for lifetime membership.

I would love to except for one minor detail. I'm about 67,000 points short at this time. Hopefully sometime in the future.

I'll take your word for it.

Don't sell yourself short, if you can do over 100,000 in 200 pointers you can do 80G. Its taken me longer to get 33,000 than it did to get the Golds. You don't have all the variables involved with the license tests, but the main principle is the same. KEEP TRYING!

BTW what is SirB ?

I'm afraid I'll need that $40 to add towards the purchase of a PS3 and GT5.

I found the slaloms really difficult, also. I just kept running them and running them and always trying to stay ahead of the ghost. The ghost helped me a lot in many license tests. I didn't really have a clue except to stay ahead of the ghost by staying on the gas longer. If I could, I knew I was improving. I never was able to count the amount of cone rows to tell how close I was to the finish.

I'm certain that those license tests just take daily practice and then one day you Gold them without even realizing it. I doubt you could break 100,000 and not be able to pass all the Licenses if you set your mind to it. Not very likely.

When I get some spare time I'm going to practice the License Coffee Breaks. I'm not that far off after a couple of tries so it seems doable.

I never had any problems with the offroad races. Weren't those races you could wallride? I practically won all my offroad races that way. Let me know which ones you're talking about.

The ghosts helped me too most of the time, but on occasion I would have a tendency to overdrive the car, especially if it was very close to the gold. Sometimes I would turn it off or start again and run with a new ghost. Also running with several ghosts will often point out more places where you can improve. You rarely ever run it the same way twice.

Yeh, I'd overdrive and go too fast and knock into the next set of cones, but usually I'd try to cut the cones a little closer or change my shift point. Didn't always work right away, but obviously in the long run it did. Daily practice pretty much works that way in life. For me, some days are better than others and I already know that. Things I felt weren't possible to do one day, seemed doable the next. Well, not everything, but you get my drift.

I still haven't dated a supermodel, owned a McClaren F1 and I'm far from riches.....but, maybe tomorrow, who knows. I'll probably have one of those things before I win the Roadster Enduro for 200 points, for sure.

Sorry if this stuff isn't appropriate in this thread. No harm intended.

What is SirB? Originally it was a play on my all-time GT favorite car's name (TVR) Cerbera. Being that it's British and all, I figured I might as well make it Sir Berra. Stupid, huh?

I have the same problem with the slalom tests. I'm going to try to get 80 golds after I finish 3 more races. 99.4 % done 99400 A-Spec points.

Nothing like a positive attitude, and you will definately need it to tackle the Roadster Enduro. That race from hell is what has been holding me up for sometime now. I have an alternate angle on it upon which I will post if I ever get it completed. No harm taken .. by me anyway.

I'm very much enjoying your posts and the votes of confidence on 80 golds đź‘Ť but I am also guilty :guilty: of going off topic so I'll take most of the blame. Can we please continue this in the General discussion thread instead. We're drifting off too much here. :scared:
