I wouldn't allow it! I never raced that way last night .. but if everyone else is gonna be using it and I can gain some more then fair enough I will change my lines tonight! But I dont like it at all and think its a shortcut for sloppy drivers :sly: but occasionally we have to use them to keep up I suppose :dunce:

I think it's just because it's christmas, hence the santa smiley. It's a gift for some, :lol:. Usually we haven't been allowing extra concrete areas. Gotta mix things up sometimes! Also, from what I remember from BC6, everything that was concrete was allowed then, which took me a while to get used to on some of the races. Then again, I ended up competing in one that didn't have extra track anywhere...

Ok i grabbed a few laps when all the kids went upstairs wrecking the rest of the house and I saw a chance :dopey: Got a new lap very quickly and never even used the extra concrete until the 2nd last turn before the final straight as its a blatant place to gain some tenths .. the section after T1 has more speed staying within the rumble boundaries imo! anyway here's my splits from my new save .. 31.718 / 1'01.851 and took .3 off at the line simply using the shortcut near the end of the lap :)

Any kind of rumble strip made of concrete, stone etc (see Nurburgring Nordschleife)
Tarmac or any other kind of road mentioned above that's situated beyond curbs
Tarmac partially covered with dirt or sand (see El Capitan)

First try on the WRS for quiet a while, so I might be a bit rusty...

I'm gearing at 330 at the moment, with TCS on. Started with the TCS off, but since I use a DS and AT (still can't get the hang of MT :indiff:), the wheelspin in 2nd is nearly impossible to control.

Just when I learned how to get Ron's splits, now you come with those times!! :eek: :bowdown:

What does "turn the car" mean here? Making it slide while braking?
 
Ehm...can someone please tell me where i can find the car because I can't find it :S Even in GT mode to go and buy it i just have the normal 3 zondas......(soz if this sounds like an amateur question :P)

Have to win missions 21-24 in GT mode (Slipstream Battles). #23 is a real pain, but you can find some helpful tips around the net on how to beat it. Basically just maintain a line with your right tires on the right yellow line that is just right of center on the track, and let the competition pass on the straights so you can draft them going into the corners. Important to follow that line because it forces the comp cars to draft off of you in the corners. Good Luck!

So I turned on my PS3 this morning and downloaded the new update. Then I put in GT4 to try this race, and it no longer recognizes my G25! WTF?!?!

don't change the leaderboard (ds2) unless you have to as i'm hoping to back with the dfp on friday
this seems to be more fun than I remember using the ds2 and auto
I know it's a lot less work and doesn't bother my shoulder as much either, can't wait to get back to the regular setup though

SirTakiS, I am too physically exhausted and mentally occupied to remember the details, but not too long ago a save was offered through a thread here. It offers 988 cars, and is the only save that will keep you ready for WRS. Hopefully, someone more competent can help you further, but that's the one you want. If I wake up early and find the link, I'll try to post it. That's the best I have for now.👍

Well after a pretty mediocre first run on sunday, I dove in for a little splash today after running my SGT race. I am very curious where I'm losing my time! I figure it's probably in braking and corner speed. I am just starting to work with the higher horsepower cars in the game. I still need to run the longer championships in Extreme Hall as when I first started playing the new found sensation of speed that GT4 offered was pretty intense. I have also found some extra time in a little longer gearing and using second gear to really drive out of corners hard. I haven't found wheelspin to be to much of a problem as long as you keep the front wheels pretty straight and the car through the corner. Anyways insight from a Div.2 midpacker. Times

t2-1.04.211

I've seen a 1.03.994 but mucked up t3 just slightly enough to make a slower lap by a hair. Still a ways off from 006r and Sjaak! Good luck to the rest of D2. I'll be chasing all week!

I still need to understand the behavior of this car. Not using driving aids and it's fun, but sometimes the car has a little umpredictable reaction if gas not measured correctly.
Corner braking after the straight is quite difficult, the weight goes to the front tires and the back slips out very easily.
I'm really enjoying this combo 👍

Is much important drift the car during some curves including the two bends.... 👍


As for words is really hard to understand and very hard to do explain...

If you want I can upload the replay but I don't believe that this is possible looking at the rules ...👍

Take care of whatever is bothering your shoulder NOW! The older you get the worse it will get, take it from a geezer who knows! I used to play golf.....everyday. I used to have a solid 4 handicap, now I can't even swing the freakin' club.:grumpy: Some nights I'm forced to sleep in the guest room 'cause I smell like "icy hot" so bad.

Yes that's it div. 2 drivers, start beating me, if I get gold I get disqualified coz I can't upload replays, please beat me.
 
I think that gold and silver times...etc are a pre-set time. I don't think it matters what the drivers get, so if your time is a "gold" time, me or anyone else beating you won't help. (Again I'm not 100%) Sjaak is this correct??

I had the same thing happen with my G25. Try plugging the USB cable into the third USB port on your PS3. Like this:
