Apolagies for the lack of cars recently, I just finished work on my drift video and im going to begin releasing tunes when the events get changed, which shouldnt be long.

Will take requests but might not accept them :)
 
Ok so i made plenty of cars i just can't get on the net at home right now so i'll post them up somehow if i can't get on by the end of the week.

Dragon, I'm taking your advice. I just copied your tunes to an excel file and plan on trying your Mine's tune tonight. I'm also interested in the Amuse S2000 tune since I enjoy that car so much. I'll post again on how the cars worked for me. I have noticed that on the Mine's tune I'm in the ballpark so to speak. But, your spring, toe and camber settings look slightly different than mine even though I can't remember my exact numbers. Looking forward to improving my laps thanks to your help.
 
Ok but beware, all the tunes dont fit with current points rules thanks to the update, always aim for max downforce first, minimum weight then increase the power as much as allowed in order to make these tunes work as best they can.
 
That's basically what I did. The rest of the tuning was pretty much to my liking on the Mine's BNR34. I tweaked just a touch to my taste but the car responded very will under power lift off which was where most of my troubles were under my old setup. So, thank you for that. I love the way the BNR looks, sounds, and now the way it feels on that track.

I still have to keep an eye on braking points. The only trouble I still have sometimes is decelerating from a long straight into turns. This is usually if I am racing someone to a turn and wait too late to brake and do so while turning the wheel for corner entry, the car gets crazy. But, that's a driver error. The car is very stable if I brake in straight lines and then turn-in, even at high speeds. The force feedback of the G25 works well under this circumstance as I can feel the wheels gripping and sliding alternately as I negotiate the turns. Working the throttle and counter-steering in response to this feedback is a rush when I don't mess up.

I haven't run a time trial since I swapped to this tune. I'll try and remember to turn some solo laps and post some results over the weekend.

First in a new breed of RVT cars, this car is tuned and tested for the current Fuji 750PP event but will run on other tracks with little asking. Not the lengthiest of projects but a solid starting point for drivers looking for a well balanced car thats not to difficult to drive. It will go under 1:38 in free run with the right driver behind the wheel but this car, like many others to come in this class from RVT as our cars are lightweight, high downforce cars, will suffer on the straight.

Description
Project Venom, long time in the making this one, named after its original name, the Viper. This snake's been injected with more venom then many other cars out there. Now capable of competing in the 750PP Fuji at the current set of events, Project Venom punchs way above its weight in terms of the cars around it. The standard Viper/Tuned often struggles to compete in this event, not anymore, I myself have ran under 5 minutes race time and this will do under 1:37.5 in free run when piloted by a good enough driver. This car excels in the turns, taking every turn in its stride particularly high speed turns such as those featuring in the first sector of Fuji. Vipers have a reputation to bite back however, although it takes more now then in its stock format, Venom still hits back if not treated with the respect it deserves in the slow corners.
Well since the new event update we've all had to move to Suzuka for the 750s, this car still runs great there, capable of sub 1:59 (best currently stands at 1:58.5) it's great balance and good low end torque are great, use high gears to make the most of the torque available and reduce wheelspin.

Ford GTLM Spec II Test Car NFB

Description
The GTLM, a beast by nature and still no piece of cake despite my best efforts. This car demands respect by its driver, or rider i should say as the car will do what it wants and you're just a passenger if this isn't taken seriously. On the other hand this car is blisteringly quick, particularly on launch and accelerating out of slow bends. Easily one of the quickest cars in class if driven properly, but driving it properly is never an easy accomplishment without enough experience. The tyres have been staggered to make it slightly more drivable and thus a more versatile race car although maybe slightly slower hotlapping.
Or perhaps not, this car just clocked a 1:55.784 which is a full 2-3 seconds faster then any other car I have on offer.
Note: Gearbox set up for use as a 4 gear car, 6th gear makes no difference 5th may be used under extreme slipstreaming.

I've been waiting for this tune since I found out you too liked the Viper.

Just had a quick go online and found the same problem I was having myself, it lacks on the main straight compared to it's standard counter-part. With that said, the brakes on this machine are amazing, you can leave the braking so late on the first corner - you normally catch those who past you on the straight back up.

I'd be interested to see what you could concuct for the non-tuned version, I was running your old set-up with more horse power before and it was working a treat. Sure you could improve it :sly:

I tried my old Viper Coupe set up with boosted power to with some success, maybe i'll give it another go for 750PP who knows.
 
I tried your Amuse S2000 today at Fuji, and I must say, it's very good.

Handles like a dream, and you can brake very late through most corners. However, it lacks in the speed department, as it is fairly slow on the straight. Other than that good tune. 👍

Well as stated in the very first post, im prepared to sacrifice straight line speed to make the cars more nimble and what not even if lap times may decrease. Sounds like the Amuse hit the spot for you in that department :)
 
Somebody has been very busy yesterday. ;) I'll give 'em a go tonight, see how they stack up against the standard ones and my own tunes. I'm especially curious to what you did with the GTLM. :)
 
Yea i just tweaked some tunes and worked on one or two, I'm going to get to work on the road cars next :). Be interested to hear what you have to say, the GTLM is probably not my best work, i think the Viper takes the biscuit on that one seeing as i've managed a 1:37.4 to a 1:37.1 by the GTLM with it with about 4-5 laps practice. I'm pretty confident I could get em in the 1:36s with a few more runs.
 
So, here's my take on your new tunes:

Z06/Tuned: Very nice handling, I managed very high corner-exit speeds with this baby, because it handles so well. A very balanced tune, no nasty surprises anywhere, it lets you know way in advance before it's even considering to let the back slide out. I only wish it would go faster! Which it can't, as I already discovered with my own Z06/tuned tune. Not without throwing the excellent handling out the door anyway. ;) Gearing is also excellent BTW. 👍

Viper/Tuned: Again, very well handling and excellent speed through the corners. Handling is very balanced, again no surprises of any kind along the way. One thing I have to ask: 6th gear seems a bit off compared to your other tunes, which makes it lack top end. Any special reason why it's like this? Still a very good tune, but this thing has me wondering if it can be faster on the straight with some slight gear adjustments.

GTLM: No surprise, this baby handles also very well. But contrary to the Viper and Vette, this baby does have some surprises along the way. It will stab you in the back by fishtailing if you're not careful. It's labeled 'NFB' (Not For Beginners) for a reason. This baby will serve you well and is blazingly fast, but don't ever step across the line or it will kill you. Gearing is top notch, as usual. Very good stuff, but a handful. ;)
 
Honda NSX Type RVT NFB
706PP - Power: 453PS - Torque: 315ft-lbs - Weight: 1079KG​

Description
Being an MR car with lift-off oversteer, is the only reason the NSX earns its NFB tag, however for any driver looking to get there foot in on MR cars, this is a good place to start. Far from fastest in the class this car is also intended for drivers looking for a challenge in terms of beating the competition online but considering this has over 40PP less then what you'll be up against this car can hold its own against many unskilled drivers in fast cars. Lapping around the 1:40 mark with very few hot laps, the car handles well and skilled users can use its lift-off oversteer to their advantage rather then otherwise. Doing so allows high apex speeds for a car with no downforce which will help you keep those pesky GTRs and so on at bay as long as possible and often allow plenty of overtakes. This cars made for two reasons, 1) its fun! 2) i believe the NSX is a simply stunning looking vehicle. Enjoy!

I'll say it again, please tel me how you got those pictures from the game to the computer, and perhaps also how you got a picture of your car in the pits like that without some gumby menu showing, but most important is how to get those screen grabs without a photomode.
 
I had a little help from a friend :) Requested the Viper pictures, then i cropped up some images to remove all the menus and writing. The Amuse, Mines and GTLM pictures (and the viper ones) are all taken from this thread, then edited by myself.
 
You could use a tv-capture card if you want to do it yourself. A graphics card with video-in will also suffice I believe.
