Obama the Trotskyite is the Lada, from Russia with love.
Biden is the Yugo, since he seems to love the region.
McCain is the Trabant with tank treads, because he's the war cheerleader while still being an economic ignoramus.
Palin is the Pacer, because, well, let's just say she's ... "bubbly".

And they're all old cars because their statist ideologies are all pretty dated.

How about cars?

For obama instead?

The Confederate flag is anti tyrannical Lincoln-led Union, not anti black skin color. That guy seems to be a total idiot, though.

For whites maybe. Think about where blacks were when the flag was first flown, and what it therefore represents to them.

Loved the CSI:Miami comic.

And what, pray tell, was this tyrannical Union being big Yankee meanies about to the po lil ol South?

I've seen the "Heritage, not hate" thing for years. I still don't buy it.

The money Abe Lincoln spent to wage war could've easily been used to buy up every slave in the south and set them free. That would've been the noblest thing to do to rectify the mistake made at the drafting of the Constitution in the first place. It's not like everybody wasn't going to pay for it anyway. That's how every other country got rid of slavery. Instead, Lincoln destroyed the original intent of the Republic and 700,000 lives, millions of acres of civilian property, and thousands of families on both sides of the war. The confederate flag is a symbol of anger and sorrow, but it's justified.

and lol at the Sealab 2021 pic.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't the fact that confederate forces attacked first enough to think that war may have been unavoidable? What about the thought that if Lincoln had bought the slaves and freed them that the southern states may have seceded anyways and slavery would have continued?

EDIT: sorry for the OT

I don't think that any of us can really be in the position to say whether things would've been better or worse if what you just explained took place. What happened happened. There's no changing it.

Good to see bigotry and prejudice are alive and well in the South since I left.

I'm originally from Georgia, for those of you keeping score at home.
I miss the "Exhost and Enigne Repair Shop" sign on Route 20 between Interlachen and Palatka.

Never did get around to photographing it.

Let's keep it a funny pic thread...
