 I love that segment in the show. I've been curious to find the actual picture he kept bringing up last season though.

So much wrong with that. Those should be moments, not forces. And the two should balance out so that the cat lands on it's rear. Plus, gravity should be represented, and I don't see an assumption to neglect drag, so that has to be modeled as well. Then there should be a conclusion to the FBD:

Sum of forces in the X direction = 0 = M * Ax
Sum of forces in the Y direction = D - Mg = M * Ay
Sum of Moments about the center of Mass = Mtoast - MCat = I * alpha = 0

Duh!

You don't want to see it.

[AUP-friendly description] It's a middle-aged bloke with a surprisingly unemotional face, wearing predominantly women's underwear, knelt down at the back of a Range Rover "using" the exhaust pipe. [/AUP-friendly description]

Curiousity has now killed the cat....:ill:

As some kind of ice cream machine?

Another 20cm or so would have brought tears to the drivers eyes. :scared:

It appears to be a fake dog rear, meant to look like the dog is either digging or partially buried in the ground.

There are several manufacturers of architectural downlights (cans) that include blue glass trim rings around the aperture... however, given that the sign in the background (and the rear wall) are also washed out with the same shade, I suspect it's an overexposure artifact from the camera.
