Indeed I do read Japanese and the magazine scan does say it will be playable at Gamescom. That said this has got to mean we will have more details about the game today during the press conference.

Is this is true - this is awesome news...

Remember of course that this is a demo - so I expect at best 2 more tracks we've not seen before (in GT5) and maybe 50 or so cars that we can guarantee...

But the big questions are...

Will this demo have Damage?
Will this demo have night/day?
Will this demo have weather?

Fingers crossed for all of the above and some uber sexy videos to tide us over for a month or so...

My betting (if this is true) is that we have playable Demo here - and release date at TGS... with bigger demo...

Looks like its true. Here is a vid from people setting up Gamescom and at 1:30mins you can see a bunch of steering wheels in a section with a car which is near the Sony section. Looks like its all set up for PD!

Article goes on to mention E3 movie, followed by playable demo THIS TIME (stall seems likely, rather than in-game movie) Finshes with "maybe more at TGS?"

I hope they release a demo again in the playstation store. Last time when the GT5Prologue demo was in the Japanese store, I was too late... They took it offline again. This time I won't be too late if there is a demo. What if the Nordschleife is available in a demo?! That would be awesome! Let's see, I hope for some other gameplay trailers from GT5 at Gamescom.

The back of all the TVs says Gran Turismo, plus the stage at the back has a black car which looks like an R8 with in the GT symbol on it and on the big wall behind it you can read "Playstation 3" in the top right hand corner. Excitement overload.

Most likely a TT. Hard to tell for sure though cause the shaky cam, but I can see how someone thought it could be a Boxster (or Cayman).
