Studebakers? Check post #44 👍

Would like to see Triumph again, but with a few more cars than just the 1500 Spitfire which was in GT4. A couple of TRs, & the Le Mans Spitfire would be nice....

Another vanished manufacture I'd like to see included is Healey

ok good to know you saved me crunching and cramming info in tonight to talk with him about when i see him again. so your a Pontiac man from many generations, we'll i'm a huge car enthusiast so i think we'd both appreciate this photo of my favorite Pontiac of all time the '64 GTO's!

Of course I can enjoy that, not my favorite year for the Goat but sweet none the less. I prefer 68-72' especially the 71-72's! I do also like the 69-72 GP's! Anyways thanks for sharing a great photo!

I'd love to see AMC (American Motors Corporation), as I've never seen this manufacturer in a game yet. The AMX, Javelin, Gremlin and the Pacer are just some of the classics they developed.

On topic, I'd really like MG Rover to be back in with some models.
The 25/45/75/SV-R would be pretty neat.

I was thinking the same thing. Some from the Morris Gar. are needed. The SV-R X-Power would be sweet.

Lot of people are putting manu's that are STILL around!

I know! I never expected to see Audi, Alfa Romeo & Lamborghini mentioned when I started this thread! lol. And FYI, it was hardly a wishlist when I posted this. I just wanted a list of cool, defunct manufacturers that would be nice to see in GT (not necessarily GT5), that's all. FWIW, it's been very informative, so far.

Lots of interesting manufacturers I've never heard of...Keep 'em coming!

Here's one I forgot to include in the OP:

Siata

First thing I did after I bought GT3 and GT4 was check if there were Lada's in it.
I would love to drive a couple of them in GT5.

Very nice! Reminds me of

Yes. They have some similar details and style, but are totally different cars. While the Aston is more elegant and luxurious, the Puma GTB is more "down to earth". Fiberglass body, and a 6cc Chevrolet engine. First a 250 model with 140HP and then the 250S with 171HP. GTB stands from Grand Turismo Brasil.

This video shows more of it:

The GTB/S1 model, manufactured from 1974 till 1978.

The GTB/S2 model, released in the end of 1978, replaced the S1 model. Was manufactured till 1984.

And for info on other pumas like the GTE and GT, and also including the ones in the videos go here:

Also, here for a feature on the TV Show Auto Esporte.

The yellow one is the first prototype of the GTB Series 1, the finished GTB Series 2 model, and the last one the AMV.

The AMV was a very controversial redesign, when Puma was no longer in the hands of the original owner. Was manufactured from 1988 till 1991.

Sorry if I'm about to hurt your feelings, but I share Jeremy Clarkson's opinion about Ladas.

EDIT: And also, Lada is not really vanished, is it?

Maybe not "vanished" but smaller companies that so far haven't featured much:
Lola, Marcos, Ginetta, Morgan, Davrian/Darrian, Reynard, Matra, Talbot, March, Dome and De Tomaso.
