Vanished manufacturers you would like in GT?

On topic, I'd really like MG Rover to be back in with some models.
The 25/45/75/SV-R would be pretty neat.

Actually, It Has More Wheels than the Peel P50, that makes it more stable

Of course I can enjoy that, not my favorite year for the Goat but sweet none the less. I prefer 68-72' especially the 71-72's! I do also like the 69-72 GP's! Anyways thanks for sharing a great photo!

hey no problem, I'm die hard Honda but i do appreciate some American muscle. My all, ALL time favorite... Chevy Impala SS '96 model! But there's something about the '64 GTO's, reminds me on the '64 Impala another American favorite.

Guys, the thread's specifically about 'dead' manufacturers.

If we're just naming cars we want to see, it's exactly the same as the wishlist.

TVR, all of them!!!!

It's a real shame that we lost TVR. I hope someone revives that marque in the the future...British people will probably blast me for it, but I wouldn't care if a foreign car manufacturer (VAG for example) buys the rights to the name and starts building cars with Wheeler's philosophy.

3 come to mind....

The Zastava Yugo

The DeTomaso Pantera

And the DMC (ive seen a tonne of pics already so I wont bother).

Bryan you bumped a thread from over a year ago, but an interesting one :)

Some of these have been mentioned already:

Cord, Auburn, Duesenberg (and for that matter a lot more pre-1950s cars)
Talbot Lago
(Original) Bugattis plus the EB110
Triumph TR-series
Marcos Mantula, Mantis, etc.
Bricklin Invader
De Tomaso (kinda still going) Pantera, Mangusta
Monteverdi
Iso
TVR Tuscan R, Tuscan S and Sagaris
Pontiac Firebird, Trans-Am, GTO etc.
Tatra (awesome rear-engined air cooled car overseen by Dr Porsche, I forget the model name)
Jensen CV8 and SV8 (i read a magazine article some years ago where Kaz was recording CV8 engine sounds at a track day meet in the UK)
Auto Union (where is the streamliner?)
Lister Storm Road Version (seems they only left the racing version in)
Venturi
Vector

:bowdown::bowdown:AMERICAN MOTORS CORPORATION:bowdown::bowdown:

RIP 1954-1987

I'd love to drive any of their products! Pacer, Gremlin, Matador, Ambassador, Concord, Hornet, Eagle, Rebel, Javelin, AMX, Rambler, etc...💡

Oh yeah, I wouldn't mind Vector back either...

A few famous manufactures that have never been in the GT series I would like to see added in the future:

-Porsche (EA's got the license at the moment)
-Rolls Royce
-Hummer
-Lincoln
-Smart Car

Oh, and some more Skylines and S2000s. :P

Gillet Vertigo Race Car? yea Gillet would be the manufacturer. it would be intresting to see their complete line up, less the Vertigo was the one and only car they made to compete in race series.

Here's a later model i'm presuming of what we had available on Gran Turismo 3.

that car is in gt5, its in the online dealer and you race against it in Like the Wind

I know they've been mentioned before but I want to see Rover in Gran Turismo.

How can PD exclude a manufacturer that made great cars such as the ones below?

Rover P6

Instead of these, we have the Kubelwagen and Suzuki Cappucinno.

Personally, I would love to see a proper attempt at Vauxhall/Opel

The likes of the Manta and Ascona 400, the original Opel GT, the sensational Calibra/Cavalier GSi/V6/Turbo the complete VXR range to name but a few

My God those Vectors were beautiful...

Lotus Carlton... They shoulda brought that one back...

I have 2 in GT5 mate :D

SHould be Premium though.... the Imperial Green should glisten and sparkle, and instead its just a dull faded matte green :(

Automotive history is full of glorious manufacturers, vanished due to budget or technical troubles. Some of them have a great history, full of successes and wins.

I think they should be represented in GT, not necessarily in GT5, but somewhere down the line.

One that immediately comes to mind is Matra.

As far as road cars go, Bizzarrini, De Tomaso & Duesenberg would also be cool to see.

I know there's plenty of defunct manufacturers out there & I don't pretend to know them all. Any other manufacturers you would like to see (road cars or race cars)?

I'd like to see Cadillac in here. I would love to drive the CTSV in here. It's a bad ass car, with tons of HP and handles like a touring race car.
