GT4P Drift Sampler video

Well this weekend I finally got GT4 Prologue and like I promised to some of the members here that I would definately figure out how to make drift possible. Here is a short video sampler of my RX-7 around New York.

GT4 Prologue Drifts

I dunno man, I just don't think it possible to do any really good drifts in prologue. I am pretty sure they have probably engaged some sort of traction control even with it off. So, the car just doesn't put out the power when the weels start spinning. Nothing against your video, but I know you know it isn't even close to what you have done in GT3. I think I am giving up on drifting in prologue, and just going to wait til the real deal is out. But, keep trying that long ass bend at New York, that's the one I want to see all connected and smokey. Stupid GT4 release date pushbacks :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:.

The Lupo drifts very nice on street tires btw..

I recently made a video of the M5 doing one lap at the Fuji Speedway. Although it's not out and out drifting, there is some sideways moments here and there.

GT4 Prologue - M5 at Fuji

Sorry for the poor sound and video quality. Im getting a new capturing device soon, then I will post the improved video. Please also note that this video will only be temporarily online, as I need the webspace.

Enjoy the video :)

GT3 and Prologue are like day and night but it's still possible to do nice drifts in Prologue, just buy the new wheel and practice for couple weeks. I can even powerdrift "easily" and control that monster BMW McLaren

Drifting is a lot harder than in GT3 and i'm really disappointed that the R32 GT-R can be chucked around so much without it even threatening to go sideways (unlike real-life).

Easier than it is in GT4P. I've got a GTS-4 (turboed 4WD monster for those not in the know) sideways before and that didn't require much effort. Granted it was in the wet, but even on the wet tracks in GT3 it wasn't easy getting the 'R's sideways.

I've been practicing with the 900 degree in Rally, and its definately paying off. It just feels so much more rewarding to be able to toss the wheel with a flick into opposite lock and then massage the opposite lock as you push the car through the corner. I've loving this wheel! Its so much fun in Rally mode, since the tarmac tracks suck at drifting, I swear its like near impossible to get any oversteer on the tarmac tracks. Anyways, I'm going to keep at this rally and hopefully when GT4 comes out, drifting will be very similar to drifting in Grand Canyon.

Hi im not an expert on drifting or anything, but if you use the GTR-NUR with road tyres. I have only tested this on the Fuji speedway and it's very easy to get it sideways. Not sure if it qualifies as drifting but like I said I'm not an expert. :dopey:

You can do nice drifts with a Nissan Fairlady ZZ-Tune as well.

err when i said road tyre's i ment road tyre's lol :) . I dont know what versions have what tyre's but im playing the PAL European, ie.english version and in the tyre choice selection as you choose your prefered gearing option and your diving aids on/off, you can also choose from ROAD -/- SPORTS -/- NORMAL -/- RACING (for all cars apart from racing cars is switched off) thats what i meant by road tyre's.

Car: Nissan Skyline V-spec II NÜR
Driving aids: off
Tyre's: road

any track will do I found this selection to be a lot of fun. :)

New video (actually a old video wich I did a few months ago, with the Japanese version of GT4:P)

And it's of a.....wait for it....a Nissan Skyline GT-R R34

Enjoy the video :)
