This board gives a dynamic ranking based on the WRS results.
Dynamic because it's only taking into account results from the past 2 months.
(If you care, it's taking into account the 7 best results over the past 8 weeks, so that a driver can miss an event once in a while without any penalty.)

As Kent states in a post below, it is thus more rewarding for 'new generation' drivers who submit every week without being exceptional drivers like some people in the WRS can be.
The main qualities to be among the top ten drivers in this leaderboard are first consistency, then performance.

Here is the latest board, after week 106, but since results haven't been posted for week 105, it's only a tentative board.
That's why there is no evolution (red or green arrows), only the ranking based on results of weeks 99 to 104 and week 106.

Here is the key to the board :

And for those who are deep into stat things, here is the board history (jpeg format, about 200 Kb each) :
80 | 81 | 82 | 83 | 84 | 85 | 86 | 87 | 88 | 89 | 90 | 91 | 92 | 93 | 94 | 95 | 96 | 97 | 98 | 99 | 100 | 101 | 102 | 103 | 104 |

I'm ahead of Mr. P. I'm happy.

Edit: I'm no longer ahead of Mr. P. These stats suck. I hate you.

I'm ahead of Mr. P. I'm happy.
Sorry Famine, but I had only put data from weeks 70 through 76. I've just added week 77 results, and I'm afraid your crap time last week on Deep Forest II costs you much... :guilty:

Crap time my arse. I did 5 laps! :D

This week should be interesting though. Without Max E. submitting, I had the 2nd quickest T2 time... :D

I would need more than twenty people not submitting during 2 months to get close to the top ten

Edit : Max E. won't be a threat for you in these stats, he can only get the maximum of 25 points, which will make a total of... 25 points.

BTW, the maximum someone can reach is 175 points, which means 7 victories. Maybe I should take the 8 best results on the 9 past weeks to get a maximum of 200 points ?

Very nice, flat-out. 👍

I just love stats. Especially when I'm doing good. :D

At banjobear: Looks like this settles it. :P Can't argue with statistics, right? :D

Consistency pays a lot, given the kind of calculation I'm using, and people who submit every week should have a good ranking.
That is unless they choose the Silvia C-West Räzo while everybody else chooses the 787B...

You must have placed consistently at the top and entered most of the races. Missing out on a race is a huge loss of points/

It's the weeks included.

I've been racing in this series for 79 weeks now and of those I have completed 51 races as of week 78. (maybe more?)
That includes These div 1 stats as well as 6 division 2 podiums.

That is just for me.

Look at the "#24 podium finisher."
Then look at this.

40 total races, all in division 1.
33 Podiums, all in division 1.

Now that is a great racer!
His name: Oliver DePlace.

However, with all of that said...
I feel like these stats are mighty rewarding for a "newer generation" of "consistant racers" who certainly deserve some respect for their skills.

Congradulations to all of you who could work your name onto that list.

Hope this just makes you guys want to work more for those division wins.

9th place for me with only 3 races entered, not bad.

Just a thought, where's The Missing Link on this list?

As I said, I started recently in the WRS (week 65) and I missed 4 or 5 weeks in a row back in June. So indeed these stats are much more rewarding for a "newer generation" : Missing Link, CFM and Max E. don't appear in the list because they didn't submit anything for the past 8 weeks.

Perhaps it will motivate people to be more consistent and practice on track/car combination they don't like much.

These stats are inaccurate, how can I be at the top?
Week 70 : 6th overall time, 14 points
Week 71 : 5th, 16 points
Week 72 : 2nd, 22 points
Week 73 : 5th, 16 points
Week 74 : 1st, 25 points
Week 75 : No submission.
Week 76 : 2nd, 22 points
Week 77 : 14th, 5 points

The worst result is ignored (week 75), which makes a total of 120.
Sorry Road_DOGG33J, you're the best of consistent drivers for the past 2 months.

Stats are updated with week 78 results (which means results from week 70 are now out).
ROAD-DOGG33J's third place this week secures his position on the top spot, and 4 new people come in, with a noticeable entry in 24th position for missing link, due to his first place in this week race.
LDM moves out of the stats because he didn't submit anything for the past 8 weeks.

Famine is still behind Mr P, while Oliver DePlace jumps from 24th to 14th.

Nice stats there!

Missed submissions for a few weeks, but hopefully now social calender is settling down again I'll be climbing the charts again soon!

The leaderboard has been updated with the results of week 79. Many people submitted this week, so that was hard to get in for those who hadn't submitted for the past 2 months (BigJamesGTI, sjaak68...) while "Big Bosses" jump fast to the top of the board (Oliver DePlace from 14th to 7th and missing link from 24th to 14th).
2 people disappear from the board : reddog78 and Terrible Tigers.

... flat-out...

... I'm not RacyBaby! RacyBacy please. I don't want to be confused!!!!

Awfully impressed that I'm the highest entry for this week though!

EDIT: flat-out fixed my name ;-)

Oops... Looks like a big mistake.
Corrected, but then I wonder what 'Bacy' means.

@ RacyBacy : you can edit your previous post so that there is no wrong spelling anymore.

Nah, not a big mistake at all. Thanks for compiling the stats. 👍

'Bacy' originated from one of my car's number plates. The registration of the car in question is Bxxx ACY. One of my friends started calling it racy bacy (pronouced bacey) since it was fast. The name stuck.

Nice story. But if I count well the car must be from 1982, almost older than you !

Hey, that's the kind of stat system (with some modifications) I suggested a year ago on the wrs.
I've only been around for a few months, but I too thought this kind of stat was missing. You just need to play to enter it now

Ooh, I've never seen this before. Something new to shoot for I think. I've had several DNFs that would bring me up.

Give it a few weeks before concluding that. :dopey:
