Mini Maniacs

Team Mini is gone, Mini Maniacs is born.

This team aims at gathering Mini Cooper fans through special threads and events.
There is no registration process : the only way to be part of Mini Maniacs is to post in this thread and say you're in.

Most of the events so far will be permanent events. That is, there won't be any deadline or any need to race every week.
You can submit some times, stay away for a while and come back to run another set of times, or to improve your previous ranking.

Super Cooper Challenge
Slingshot Cooper Challenge
Super Speedway's Sixty Seconds
Flight Over a Cooper's Nest

GT4 Events
Mini Cup (race #1)

Other event suggestions would be appreciated.

Members

Race Drivers have at least one fastest time on Mini Maniac boards ;
Test Drivers submitted at least one time but have no fastest time ;
Pit crew joined but didn't race yet.

Garage
For those using an X-port or Shark-port device, here is the ultimate Mini garage, featuring 10 stock Coopers, 10 full modded Coopers (all colors available) and 4 Cooper-bodied hybrids.

Running in a full modded Mini for WRS 100 is probably the first good Mini-thing to do before I post the events

Anyone have settings for the Mini? I'm particularly curious about LSD settings ... I'm a total noob at tuning FWD :dunce:

I tend to set it fairly low in FWD so it won't suffer too much understeer, but I haven't found that a problem with the mini.

I've never found any useful settings for this LSD, so I'm usually not setting it at all. But not particularly on the Mini, on any car.

I did retire but I had a possessed thumb after 2 days of no racing :crazy:

.... and it was trying to kill me :crazy:

It forced me to race again against my will ... and still does to this day! :dopey:

That's the reason why events are permanent and not weekly, monthly or else. So that people can run a few laps now and then.
Hard to ask anybody to run Minis and only Minis, isn't it ?
(And that way you won't have all the records

)
