123 mph in a few places with no slipstream. 125 but only if I can get in the slipstream of Beauvois or Maraglino.
Haven't tried nitrous so far.

I added a front spoiler.
Great driving, wauk - congrats for your steady improvement. 👍

I'm grinding with the Tomahawk right now - it's fast as hell but feels so incredibly dull compared to the Mini.

Btw similar top speeds here.

I guess you guys are wondering if she will soon have a new challenge and what that would be... Let's just hope she don't challenge us to drive on two wheels 😂

Edit, tried to post gif but it doesn't show.

LOL !!!

Sadly they've butchered the classic Trial Mountain layout with that deadly chicane leading to start / finish.
Guess that would've been paradise for her ...

Remember ?

Oh guys, how I love maxing things out. :D Setup as posted, just two minor tweaks. Still no nitrous used.

And here's a little bonus for you :
It's not driving on two wheels but does that count as cool too ? :dopey:

First impression after looking at the photo, I’d say you need to increase the rebound on your rear shocks. . . 🤪

I'm not sure it's a good benchmark since these are literally my 1st, 2nd and 5th try at this race and as you can imagine, those were far from being clean.
But I guess it can give a global impression on what Nos brings to the table.

Wow guys, @waukazoo, @ROCKET JOE, @gkgamer and others that get race times under 6:30 amazing driving. I guess we others have still a lot to learn.
Do you have any suggestions how we others can improve? I mean, practice, of course, but would for example watching a replay of your races help us to see where and how we can gain some seconds? And if so, would some of you want to share a replay?
Do you have other suggestions how we who want to get faster, can do it?
I think a ghost could help me, but I don't know if that's possible to share a ghost?

Hey mate, you're too kind, that's more praise than I deserve ...

My own experience is that watching replays, hunting ghosts, generally speaking learning from others, even learning some driving / racing theory have helped a lot over the years. Please don't expect me to give you detailed tips and tricks - there's just too many of them and ... there's way better drivers out there who already do this.

As for using one of our runs as a ghost, I'm pretty much sure it's not possible - I don't think it has ever been. Ghost replays have been available solely for single lap events and the likes ( qualifying lap etc. etc. ), not for races.

Sharing my replay ? Upload it here ? I would of course. If someone told an older guy like me, how ... step by step.
I've saved my last run, I know how to watch it ha ha :D ... and then ???

Thank you very much for your NOS test - that's very interesting indeed. 👍

Ok, I finally got it figured out! Here are a couple photos and my best time so far. I’m way off the winning pace, but I’ll work at it.

Awesome, your time is good, and look at those two wheels 😎

Well said Rocket Joe.

@Bullwinkle
There are some great tips from great drivers like Igor Fraga, Tidgney and Driver61 on YouTube about trail breaking, throttle control and such. But that only helps if you put in the seat time. And those guys eat, drink and sleep in their rigs. I can only sit there grinding away trying to do what they teach for so long.

Nothing has helped me improve more than what you see going on right here right now.
A good handling car, on track that flows well. Going back and fourth besting each others lap times with good friendly people. For me nothing beats this.
It doesn't seem like practice when it's this much fun.
At nearly 70 years old it takes longer for me to get what the You Tube guys are teaching. But with events like this "The Girlfriend 600" eventually something will click and I understand when and how to apply some of the techniques those You Tube use.

@gkgamer
Thats alot more time than I thought it would be.

Just gave this a try. Ran 4 races as I had to restart after rolling the mini three times in a row.
will keep coming back to it to try to better it. Fun Race. Winning is pretty easy but there are some serious times getting put up here.

Edit.

6.36 now.
Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in 😂

6. 32 now.
This is addictive.

6. 30 now.
Getting to the limits of my talent here I think.

I can win that race but I am not even getting close to that times you all are setting...

Ideally post a replay, this way we can see where you're slowing down excessively.
Remember, the mini is a light narrow car.
You can brake later and turn in wider with more speed.
The less speed you lose, the less time you waste gaining it back.
Having the right settings helps, I went from 5/15/45 to 5/60/5 on the LSD and became 6 seconds faster, i could take that banked right hander 10km/h faster
You dont want your gears to be too close or else you will be bouncing off the limiter half the time but you dont want them too wide either.

Wow, 6:20:569 i am speechless!!! I have still a lot to learn, more then three seconds slower per lap. I will continue learning and practicing.

@Grayfox I obviously need to learn how to post a replay too? Do you know how it's done and guide me, step by step. Thanks.
And big thanks for advices!!!

Oh guys, @gkgamer and @ROCKET JOE finally, I see your replays, that's amazing. You are very skilled and experienced. I see now that I can improve my racing line a lot, let's hope watching your replays helps me gain few seconds.
Give me a moment to test latest settings from @gkgamer and see if that help. And I see you have pretty cars too. I guess new liveries needs to be put here too 😁 (something more to learn)
And then I will try to share my replay too.

Edit: highlanderlast is my PS name, in case you wonder

Hmm... I think I made exact copy of the settings from @gkgamer but results are different, I have 172 BHP and only 537.01 PP? While you have 179 BHP and 579.61 PP.
What is missing?
