Driving aids
👍
All this to say: Give up the driving aids, they are false friends. When testing a car, first, put off all the driving aids, then, test 2 laps whit the car just to feel it. Then point out what it needs (more steer, less steer, more HP… )and only after that buy the tuning parts that you think you need to better the car, and the settings to use.

👍

👍 I did that!👍

I thought maybe I could post some of my settings. We tune these cars for both Grip and Drift and will also be joining any online race series.

Well, I've got something that might interest you in the way of an online race.

No problem. Shame, I was hoping to get at least one convert from each GT site I'm a member of.

A few tips on your older setups? Remove the aids and see how they drive. Normally, I'll run aidless for anything short of 500hp on S tires or 800 hp on R tires. Both of those figures increase with AWD, and drop dramatically with FF. (Although I'll never have a 800hp AWD on sports tires. It's too mean to the tires, and too fast, as braking gets hurt BAD by sports tires.)

I thought maybe I could post some of my settings. We tune these cars for both Grip and Drift and will also be joining some online race series.
All cars are driven and tested on Trial Mountain using the exact settings posted.
Every visitor who tests setups may ask for one setup for a car He/She has and wants to be tuned to its best possible performance.
All you need to do is give me some guide lines, such as the weight reduction level, power, etc. We do racing cars.

Keep in mind that this will happen only if you test one of my setups and give me feedback. If you want us to adjust a car for a certain online race at GTP, you have to ask the judges of the race if it's OK to use outsider team to set up the car.

That's what you wrote. Sounds pretty smart, doesn't it?

Every banner also sports a time, driven on Grand Valley Speedway using the exact settings posted.

...All You need to do is give us some guide lines, as the weight reduction level, power, NA or FI etc...

It sounds smart because everything in bold - even complete with grammar errors - is stolen directly from me and Leonidae. In other words, everything but the first row. This is the cheapest thing I've seen for a very long while. How come I saw you often browsing Mad FinnTuners Co. without posting anything just before you moved your garage from the Tuner Garages here, and now I see these phrases (taken from the same thread), with the exact same wordings, used on this garage? You didn't even bother to change "us" to "me" in one of the sentences! Whoops! Too busy trying to look good with your new header? Tell me, was is just too tempting to be lazy and use someone else's work that had already been done without having to bother yourself with coming up with a good introduction? Or were we just too good not to be copied?

Yes, my personal engine is redlining badly at the moment and I'm not going to lift the throttle half an inch. I'm going to win the race or crash spectacularly now. While I understand that nothing posted here can be copyrighted, direct copying gets a bit too harsh for me to understand. PM me, flame me openly in this thread, do whatever you want. Report me to the mods if you think I'm accusing you with no reason. But we'd like to get the answer. You owe us one very good explanation. And don't try to tell me that it's a coincidence. That one isn't getting bought.

:ouch: I have to agree, that is indeed bit too thick even for a calm person like me. I know that copying is the sign of success, but you don't need to do it 90% accurately..:grumpy:

Seriously, I'm always on the new members side, but not when something like this happens.👎:irked:

Please, try to do something original, like we did. Do not copy same formula over again, you'll just cause problems to yourself and cause bad mood for me and Greycap, since we have done a lot of work for our thread.:indiff::banghead:

Wow, I came through here and never noticed the nicked wording, but yeah, that's just wrong.

I don't just THNK greycap and Leo put hours of work into their thread, I KNOW.

Swish: Hmm, I personally SUCK at Trial Mountain, but I'll see what my B4 Blitzen of 470hp, no aids, and S2's can do, with a very basic, baseline tune.

Aight, on sports tires, with a very bad lap, 1:38.

Wow... "plagerism" must be a common misspelling for "plagiarism"; Wikipedia actually has a redirect for "plagerism".
