Standard cars and PS1-era cars that deserve the Premium treatment in GT7

Yo, this is a japanese game on its 7th iteration, American cars take a back seat to the R35 GTR, doesnt matter how many versions of that car we get too. It would be nice if we did get a 2000 Cobra R and a C5 Z06.
Japanese Game= Japanese Bias

I cant blame PD because without them I would not be fully into Japanese cars despite me being a huge fan of Italian cars.

Pd has also helped me appreciate Japan's motorsport history.

In GT Sport, a handful of cars were upgraded from Standard to Premium status; however there's still a large amount of important cars that haven't received the Premium treatment. It's probably fair to assume that many of the "new" cars in GT7 will be Premium models of previously Standard cars. Which cars should receive a makeover? What cars could we feasibly see again?

Here's my list:

Yes please...GT6 also had the Monaro. Was shattered it disappeared in GT sport and GT7. Also would like other aussie cars (commodores/falcons) and tracks.

My '05 monaro (heavily modified) at Sandown, I used to love modding up the same car in GT to drive around the world:

Hi Everyone,

I think there are a Lot of Cars Missing. Cars that were present in earlier renditions and also Cars that haven't Been into yet!

For example I really Like to Drive the Toyota MR2 W1 again ...or the Peugeot 106 S16 ... Some classical AMGs as the C36 and C43 W202 ... Or one of the best Hot hatches ever - the third Gen Renault Clio RS.

The world of Cars is full of amazing Cars.

AS I don't have the complete list available in my head ...
Hyundai Ioniq5, Kia EV6GT, Peugeot 205 GTi1.9, Citroen BX19 GTI, Alfa Romeo 147 GTA, Alfa Romeo 156 GTA, Lancia MonteCarlo, Fiat X1/9, Fiat Uno Turbo, Renault Clio MK1 Williams, a lot of TVRs, Porsche Boxster, BMW Z1, Z3, Z4 :D

Its time ... :)

I'd like to have that weird green Starlet back. It was always my starter car in GT2. I'd also love to have the 2000 Cobra R back as that was my 'first love' (as Kaz puts it) in GT3.

After the Toyota Supra GT500 '97 was added, a legendary race car, I have a naive hope that the following cars will be added:

  • Dodge Viper GTS-R Team Oreca '00
  • BMW M3 GTR Race Car '01
  • Lamborghini NOMAD Diablo GT-1 '00
  • Chevrolet Corvette C5-R (C5) '00
  • Lister Storm V12 Race Car '99
  • Mercedes-Benz CLK Touring Car '00

These cars would bring new enthusiasm to the Gr3, a group I'm very fed up with, considering that basically since GT Sport I've been playing with and against the same cars.

Still feel a bit short changed these haven’t carried over to GT Sport and now GT7. I know the game is nearing a second anniversary, as we don’t know what cars are yet to be added, but these cars would fit so well.

  • FF 155
  • Mondeo
  • 405
  • 306
  • Primera
  • E36(albeit in Compact guise)
  • Laguna
  • Accord
  • Vectra
  • Astra
  • Carina/Corona

Still can’t believe this car hasn’t been in every GT since its debut.

I’m echoing some of the others listed but

Ford Escort, Cortina, Capri, Falcon

Opel, Vauxhall, HSV

Mustang Cobra Fox Body

Plymouth Baracuda

Honda Del Sol, Prelude

Jaguar XKR, XJR, XJ220

Lister Storm

Lotus Esprit, Elise, Europa, Emira, Evora GT, Evija

Mitsubishi FTO, Eclipse, Galant

Nissan Pulsar

Toyota MR-2 Supercharged '87

Toyota MR-2 '02

Dodge Interceptor M4S

Some of the cars you've listed have never been featured in a GT game before.
