I've seen an SL65 so many times.
Mainly because of the assistant principal at my school.
Teaching really pays there, eh? 💡
That's not quite a CL63. In fact, it's not a CL63. No
side badge, no
AMG wheels, and no
front-end AMG bodykit. So it's a nice CL550, but that's about it.
Unless it was right-hand drive, it's not. The Type-R was never sold in the US, nor in left-hand drive.
I have some that are genuine, however:
Saab 9-3 Viggen
I was not aware the Viggen was available as a 4-door, but this seems to be it. The wheels are suspect, but the exhaust was right. Maybe, maybe not.
Rolls-Royce Corniche
Typical 1970's color, but it looks right somehow.
Chevrolet Chevelle SS396 1967
A client just bought a nice '67 SS396 convertible (not show quality, but a good drivable car) and I hesitated to post photos of it. Thankfully this came along soon after. His is sky blue as opposed to this red one.
Jaguar XKR Convertible 2009
It's really not that dark out. I just had the camera settings wrong...which goes part way to explaining half my awful photos.
Nissan 350Z Nismo
These are becoming increasingly common. I guess Nissan's trying to get rid of them since they were overpriced when new. All that for a non-aerodynamic bodykit and a
slightly better suspension? I'd pass, too.
Nissan 370Z
Strangely, I found the Nismo version first (posted last month). Maybe the pricing is better aligned this time?
Audi RS6 2004
Never fails to emit a wonderful V8 roar.
Porsche 911 GT3 2010
The subtle gray almost made it invisible. Looking at it now, though, it definitely shows off the curves best, and certainly keeps it from being a standout in the crowd. Probably owned by someone with good taste, but wants some privacy. Oh, the irony....
Bentley Continental GT Speed vs. Ferrari California
At just about the same spot as last week, another odd pair. The previous two were obvious competition. This...not so much. Maybe it's just the local dealer's salesmen having some fun during lunch. Lucky bastidges.
