Everything before the focus point is right side up, everything after is flipped. Try this.

I was going to give you crap about the frog pic being posted before but apparently, while it technically was, it no longer shows up.

:ouch: The jpg link still works in Tom's post though

I guess when I post a picture from National Geographic's best photo August 2009 I should check to see if it's been posted before...you're not an elephant are you TB?

Some pictures you don't forget and if you've been following this thread from its inception you'd have remembered it too.
But it's a great picture and I bet that frog has bigtime heart burn. lol

I'm only kidding mate...I've seen the photos :yuck:

One of the disadvantages of being a fairly new member, I should really read through some of the more interesting threads from the beginning.

Some of the threads are just too long to go through every one of them.
Luckily I've been on the forums long enough to pretty much have read through every one of them or at least the ones of the most interest to me.

It's all good and do enjoy the threads though. 👍

Indeed, I've seen your posts in the very first GTPlanet thread! :D:tup:

Good luck! I have been on GTP for over seven years now and barely scratched the surface. On that note, I have no clue what any of the Gran Turismo forums look like at this point, as I have not visited them in ages.

People sleeping in airports...

Some of the locations (within the airport) is questionable but I understand, I was stuck in Singapore once in the middle of the night for 8 hours after already spending around 12 hours on flights and transfers with another 15-16 hours of flights and transfers to go after that... It gets to you.

Singapore airport had some nice resting lounges to lay on for that very reason which helped a little.

I was on a trip by myself in the USA and I was flying from Vegas to Charlotte North Carolina but I had to get a transfer flight from Phoenix Arizona so it was Vegas --> Phoenix --> Charlotte. Abot a 6 hour flight without stops I think. Problem was the plane landed in Phoenix at 9pm and my next flight wasn't until 1am :grumpy:

Very boring airport that one but while I was sitting in the terminal Anna Coren from Today Tonight comes on TV talking about the bushfires!! It's midnight in Phoenix of all places and Anna bloody Coren is on TV

Also, check out the second last photo, see the QANTAS boards? :sly:

That last galaxy shot is epic. "12-micron light is shown in orange, and 22-micron light is shown in red." So it's camera effects that made the colour?

Looks like it's just me and you keeping this thread alive Neal, and all I have is my trusty Binscorner site

It's an infrared camera and as infrared is invisible to the human naked eye the image is "manipulated" so that we can see the different wavelengths...I think that's about right but NASA will probably explain it better

I have been spamming this thread quite a bit recently!

EDIT: yes, the last one is awesome. More here
