As far as I know this question has not been asked yet,if so i'm terribly sorry but does anyone know how to get this car? all I can find is the Nissan GT-R(GT academy version)....

i think its a random car that shows up with a lvl 12 gift ticket?

When you complete all races in Professional Event in A-spec/B-spec, you get 1 Level 12 ticket each. It's completely random though. You have a better chance getting one from the Marketplace.

But it's required for the GT Academy events, so how can it be awarded randomly? This would be messed up!

No, it's not required to enter the GT Academy. They give you the car to do the trial with, you just can't own it.

I beleive the only 370 is the 370Z Tuned Car ‘08.
From the car list it's a premium, so should be available at the Nissan dealership.

I've got the 370Z Tuned GT Academy car.

Once I get my head around how to safely duplicate then I could trade it for something?

I've had this twice with 2 tickets, on 2 different saves, both for completing A-Spec either Pro or Expert, I forget.

Its not the rarest, its been duped the crap out of. But in terms of how to get it, yes its rare, only by random price, and it CANNOT be bought from the used car dealer or new car dealer.

It's rare because there is no gaurenteed way of obtaining it, but even the X2010 is gaurenteed if you do to appropriate challenge, and pretty much every other car you can buy at some stage (if you can find them).

But as you said, thanks to duplicating, there is no rare car left in GT5, and I'm sure it won't be long until we see trades of FGT's or X2010 for Suzuki Wagon R's or other such crap just so someone can get the 1000 car trophy.

I understood the whole online competition was awarding people this car for participating.... sort of the incentive to have a go at it for those who don't feel like investing $300 into a good wheel for a just a game.

You can get both cars with the glitch, the 370 and the GTR (academy versions) I didn't think it was possible but it is....cuz I did it.
