Need Viper SRT10 ACR '08 Tune

Hey guys, being that this car fully modified isn't the best cornering car, does anybody have a tune for this car that will work specifically for the Indy track?

bump. I haven't got the ACR yet, but my GTS fishtails like a monster on Nurburg GP when exiting corners. I know I should be careful of the throttle, but still :/.

So is JJ's setup the best for the ACR? And then triple that rear toe from .02 to .06?

bump...that is kind of what it sounds like but I would love to hear a confirmation. I am considering using this car for a challenge with some friends

I finally got the car back. My friend and I both tuned it and we found a tuning that we both liked. Let me know what you guys think.

Top Speed 261
LSD 8/20/30 (I brake before corner entry, not after corner entry, and I drive over rumble strips at chicanes so I need the braking stability, please turn this down if you are having problems with understeering with your driving style)

Ride height -14/-12
Spring Rate 12.5/16.0
Dampers Ext 5/6
Dampers Comp 5/6
Anti-Roll 2/2 (I'm a firm believer of stiff springs with soft anti-roll in this game and in real life racing)
Camber 2.5/2.4
Toe -.10/.02
Brakes 6/5

All upgrades, mods, and tunings installed except aero kits. I'm running on soft racing tires.

I'm struggling with the Viper to cut down lap times at Grand Valley Speedway. This car is a pain to get to corner, but JJ's settings improved things.

After 50 or so laps I have found these modifications to work better for me:
Camber 0.5/2.4
Toe -.10/-.05

What do you think?

Before i start i will tell u all that i'm in no way a tuner. i couldnt explain to you 99% of what the setting on my cars do, but. I took teh settings posted here and compared them to settings i've gotten from other garages for other FR cars that have trouble turning.

I use Skid recovgery force ON but ABS to 1 and everything else off and i found the following helped, it also allowed me to get 3.13.xxx on circuit de la sarthe 2009 (no chicanes) with a few iffy moments, this is comparable to my Veyron which i got 3.10.xxx with

Max Speed - 255
Drive train - 8/20/8
Suspension:
Height: -20/-15
Speing Rate: 16.6/12.5
Extension: 8/7
Compression: 6/6
Roll bars: 5/4

Camber: 2.6/1.2
Toe: -0.25/-0.08
Brakes 6/5

Skid recovery ON
ABS 1
all else off.

Its a bit twitchy and as has been said before, dont brake while steering into the corner, slow down before u get the corner and use accelerator to push the car through and it'll fly out the other end.

It wont suit everyone but i found it to handle a lot better than it has done prevously and it gave me a good time my test track (CDLS2009)

Amazing!

For everyone thats say the ACR cant turn your wrong i did a 6:18.482 at nurburing with the power at 1031hp its marvelous once tuned right

I've had one done through RKM and it's BEAUTIFUL...Goes where no ACR has been before. Tested it against a 999BHP ACR online where as mine is 966BHP on Fuji Speedway GT and after the first lap I had a clear gap of a second...Big thanks to the guys at RKM :)

BIG BOSS ACR

The Tune for the ACR is below but first I do need to thank VTiRoj for doing this tune from RKM Motorsport. Without his tune I don't think this would have been tame.

Camber: F:2.5/R:2.5

The reason I didn't put a Racing Exhaust on this was because I wanted to keep the sound of the ACR itself...But believe me when I say that this thing is a thing of beauty :)

Let me know what you think and Also feed it back to VTiRoj.

Great! I'll give you a little review, but don't expect to much.
(My English...... you know)

RKM's tune is good considering the car, but it's not what I expected. I still feel like this car has more to give. To me it felt like driving a very neutraled out FWD car making high horsepower. Say in the 300 range.

Again, considering what PD gave us to begin with... the tune is good. But for me this car needs to give more.

My little BIG BOSS ACR review

Test Track: Grand Valley Speedway (all aids off, except ABS 1)

Before: (Sports Soft)
First, my Viper has about 1000ps. You might think that this combination would be undriveable with sport soft tires. But no, the ACR runs like on rails out of the curves.
It's just unbelievable how much traction this car has.
Of course, you must be careful at the exit of slow corners, but what do you expect?
This enormous stability, however, has one serious disadvantage: massive understeer. You really need to brake early.
At the end, I was able to get a time of 1:53,365.

After: (Sports Soft)
I really hoped that the tune would reduce the understeer.
But the setup does exactly the opposite. The traction on the rear..... well, it's just incredible. It feels as if you were driving on race tires.
The good thing is that it almost doesn't increase understeer.
In my opinion this car is a dream for all analog haters out there (full throttle, no throttle,.....);)
Lap Time: 1:52,681

I think this car is now a car for everyone. Nothing could make this rocket unstable, not even an earthquake. Just go full throttle out off every corner and feel the power!

Additional:
(racing soft tires)

Before:
The racing tires make the car much better.
The viper understeers much less now, but it's still not perfect.
Time without aids, except ABS 1: about 1:41,XXX (I'll post the exact times later)

After:
Well, ...............it's just.........horrible!:yuck:
What a huge understeer! Just a nightmare. (sorry Roj)
Time: about 1:43,XXX

This tune is very, very bad on racing soft tires. (As long as you drive on a circuit, of course. For drag racing a superb car:idea:)
Ehhm yeah, 1.5-2 sec slower really tells it all.

Yeah, I had huge problems with the understeer and maybe its better without additional downforce. I'll try it.

Oh, I see you used another setup than I did. My review is for RKMs tune. I'll compare your tune with RKMs.

I tried those settings and those are garbage, I'm using a g27 wheel and the ACR had medium race tires and just a full suspension mod and it was a bitch to drive around grand valley, I'm going back to JJ's settings.

I didn't go full blown race car with this one, but here's my tune:

Tuning Shop:
Weight Reduction Stage 2
Fully Customizable Transmission
Twin Plate Clutch
Semi Racing Flywheel
Carbon Driveshaft
Adjustable LSD
Fully Customizable Suspension
Racing Soft Tires

Tune:
Transmission:
Top Speed: 211 mp/h
Drivetrain:
Differential:
Initial Torque: 19
Acceleration: 31
Braking: 8
Suspension:
Spring Rate: 9.0/11.7
Extension: 6/7
Compression: 3/7
Anti-Roll: 2/4
Camber: 3.1/2.7
Toe: -0.20/-0.11
Brake Balance: 5/6

I pulled a 1:50.1 around Grand Valley (with a few minor mistakes) with this. No engine mods, so it's pretty respectable.

well ppl think tune means buy every thing 4 the car but it isn't. suntimes cars r faster without all the stuffs. ive only brought lcs and the best transmission and it works well 4 my viper. i also did a dragracing tune which make my viper hav very fast boost. heres the tune of 1/4 dragracing:

set max speed to 211
then first gear:4121
second gear:2575
third gear:1719
forth gear:1315
fith gear:1074
sixth gear:0766
final gear:4318

u might think the max speed is 211 but its actually 170. do not set the max speed higher cus itll make the viper slower 2 boost. this is only the gear part of the tune but its the most important of the whole tune. if u think this works add me on ps3.

:tup:Just used jjohan's tune, got a 7,22 on my first practice lap. Next lap was 7,46; then I realized I was hungry and had to pee.

I LIKE IT! I turned the rear springs up to 15.X and changed the brake balance, its SO STABLE. My changes were more for me, I apex early and brake late. Just a little bit of sexy red slide and she stays on the road. This setup is GOOD TO GO.
