Guys, I greatly appreciate the last few posts here, it's enlightening for me, as I know bugger all regarding suspension and differential geometry..... I've put a more detailed response in Stotty's thread on tuning....

Update:

Everybody seems to be interested about what car others used , so a poll would work best for this.

But to keep it within this thread , I could form a list of our car choises , that I'd update while the thread is still "Unofficial".

Tony Stewart #14 did it for me. Thanks for the check Pyxen, sad about the submission. I have two missed on my list.
 
I try to pretend the wheel and pedals are connected, so as the wheel turns, the pedals must release, the further the turning angle, the less the pedals can move, and vice versa. Wont help faster guys but might help some slower traffic.
 
Can't remember which one I used for my fasest lap as I was flicking between 2 cars with different tunes. It was either Tony Stewart #14 or Jeff Gordon #24.

I used the #18 Kyle Busch Camry for my fastest lap, I was switching back and forth between it and the #42 Juan Montoya Impala but the #18 seem to be a few tenths faster for me.

It's as MadMax said, the zip file only contains your gamesave and not a replay.;)

Only had an hour on the nascar combo, and used the horrible neon-green Allmendinger Ford, since it was what I had lying around, already at full power.

I tried to channel Petty, unsuccessfully (#43).
 
Thanks MadMax - appreciate you being defacto PAL judge this week. Only got to review one replay but will do better with the Golf's next week.

Hi there. Well done to all who tamed the beast. For what it's worth I used the M&Ms Toyota for my best lap.

I'm surprised it was gears holding me back, I tought it was the line and general lack of pace against the faster boys. Chukabilly said earlier in the week that you should do 190MPH at the line and I was doing 191/192 there.
Thanks for the pointers. Hopefully a few more divisions podiums come my way or even a promotion.:D
