GPEKC: Sprint Karting Championship Still Taking Entries

Welcome to the official thread for the sprint kart championship. It is run by the same people that started the Grand Prix Endurance Kart Championship but for people that could not make the main series and also to make the off season more exciting. New members are always welcome and for both championships so don't hesitate to join even if we are mid-way through the season.

Rules and Settings
PDI Racing Karts
Penalties: Weak (Strong at the Top Gear Test Track)
Damage: Limited
Grip Reduction: Real
Driving Line: Off

Race Meetings
Lobbies will be open at the latest of 7pm BST with practice lasting until 7:25pm BST Qualifying will be set to 5 minutes long and the first race will then start automatically at 7:30pm. There will be 3 races and after each race there will be a five minute break before next one starts. The grid order in races 1 and 2 will be fastest first giving 5 minutes of qualifying both times, however this will change to a reverse grid order for the 3rd round.
Points will be awarded at each race to the top 6 drivers in the following format:

Each race will last between approximately 20km.
Monday 20th June London 10 laps
Monday 27th June Top Gear Test Track 7 laps
Monday 4th July Autumn Ring Reverse 7 laps
Monday 11th July Tsukuba Circuit 10 laps
Monday 18th July Cote D'Azur 6 laps
Monday 22nd August Eiger Nordwand 9 laps
Monday 27th August Autumn Ring Mini 20 Laps

How to Join
Leave a message in the comments section below or, join the social group(link in my signature or leave a message via PSN or GTPlanet.
Lobby numbers will be posted below on race day too but confirm your interest below before joining or you will be kicked from the lobby as I won't know that you're interested.

You might want to fix the first two race dates, because the month is wrong
 
Are we definitely starting at 7PM GMT? So that would be 8PM BST?
Also this monday might be an issue, dads birthday

I'm looking to expand my PSN friends list though with fair drivers that like online kart races. Most of the time I'm online on Saturday evenings (BST) and occasional week evenings between 2100 and 2300 BST.

If anyone's up by the way for a similar 'weekend' series, count me in :)

It's a bit late to change the timings right now although I would happily race you on saturdays at 9 if you add me. I can point you in the way to another kart championship that runs on saturdays run by tombrooks97. I think it's in the afternoon though.

Next week all times to be moved forward by half an hour. The f
lobby will open at 7:30pm BST and Qualifying 1 will begin at 7:25pm GMT. Race 1 then begins at 8:00pm BST.

On another note, well done to GTP_Galahad23 for taking the lead in the championship, he set 3 fastest laps which were sometimes a second quicker than the next best time. If you would like to find the results then they are available on the social group page just below in my sig.
 
Oh thank you DAN but, to be honest i love this circuit and i drive a lot in it. I dont hope to do all the fastest laps in the top gear test track, but yes win a race ;)
