This is my point: You're not supposed to select a colour and theme an image around it, you're supposed to leave highlights of an image in colour and the rest black and white!
I dont get it. I see a "selective" color shot a bit different than alot here do!
Isn't selective color only one color and the rest in b&w? Or did I missed something there?
Because I really see alot doing it with more than one color. And in my opinion thats a bit confusing and doesn't fit the theme "selective"/"partial" color very well.
The idea is to use or mimick the partial colour filter, which in GT5 monochromes the background while leaving the car coloured (which is multi-coloured - considering car colour, lights, rims etc...). However with it being a 2.0 comp we have more flexability and can monochrome the car, leaving the scenery coloured or have selected objects coloured. I don't think that it limits you to just one colour, although you can do that too if you wish.
Gtuned will have to correct me if I'm wrong.
No one mentioned anything about needing to have a car in the picture... so I guess it's fine. I'll let the judges decide on that though. Please notify me if my picture is non-eligible.
