Just bumping this to let you know I am back in the country, and apart from my friend having my wheel till I can get it back off him, rip-roaring ready to race my friends đź‘Ť
 
Yup, the power supply won't arrive until Monday, so we're pushed back one more week. Sorry guys.
 
We are good to go for this Saturday, as my PS3 is back up and running. :)
 
Open practice tonight around 7pm EDT, Qualifying at 4pm EDT tomorrow, 50-lap race starts at 5pm EDT tomorrow.

The races start at 5pm EDT on Saturdays. If we waited until 9pm EDT to start, we would lose our friends from the UK.
 
I hope you guys have been working on your road course setups.
 
Qualifying starts in 8 hours, 25-lap race at Daytona Road Course starts in 9 hours.

4pm EDT (8pm GMT, 9pm BST) - Room opens in My Lounge for a 60 minute Practice/Qualifying session.

5pm EDT (9pm GMT, 10pm BST) - Race begins automatically, with a scheduled start time of 5pm EDT. **You may practice/qualify right up until the race begins.**

The race starts in just under 4 hours!
 
Daytona Road Course Results:

1st: RFLX_Niop (24 laps led, pole position) - 20 points + 3 bonus points
2nd: carat_jeter - 18 points
3rd: homeslice47 - 16 points
4th: Droptop2001gt - 14 points
5th: PoppaSmurph (1 lap led) - 12 points + 1 bonus point
6th: Mtn-Rider3765 - 11 points
7th: Razorback718 - 1 point*

Razorback718 apparently walked away from his controller before the start of the race, and his car sat on the track, in the way of the other drivers. At least two drivers were adversely effected by his car rolling back and forth in front of the entry to turn 1, thus he was awarded the points for a 16th place finish, instead of 7th place.

This weekend's race is one of the last three before the start of the Chase. It's a great chance to leapfrog up in the standings to get in to the top 8, or improve your starting spot in the Chase with a very valuable win.
 
Your connection was probably NAT type 3 MrMulsanne, and you need NAT type 2. A fix that works for me is to disconnect my ps3 from the internet (not just PSN) and then reconnect it. Turning your PS3 off and on is the easiest way to do it.

Anyways, a good race tonight. A shame that I lost the draft when Drop's car lagged back into mine on lap 59, but 3rd place is still good.

Ah, I was wondering where you went at the very end. Sorry about the unlucky break. You and niop were making up a lot of time in a hurry there at the end.

Other than the guy that brought a GT-R and terrible car control on to the track, I thought tonight's race was the best we've had so far.
 
For me, this was the worst race by far lol. I got caught up in the first accident, not sure who caused that one. Then me, Diego, and one other started making our way back to the main pack. Just as we catch the pack, that idiot in the GTR takes me out, and only me. But I get going before him and put a gap on him. But then the leaders pass the GTR guy and he drafts with them until they all catch up to me. Then he takes me out again, lol. Eventually me and Joe hooked up and made it up to the leaders pack. Even though I was a lap down, it still felt good to catch the leaders. Stuff happens, but still a fun race. Congrats on the win Ryan.
 
I might watch this race replay about 5 times just to see all the different perspectives. We really need to be able to rewind and fast forward replays.
 
After watching the replay, I'm amazed at how much great racing, and superb bump-drafting, was going on all over the track. There were some obvious drafting incidents, but nothing out of the norm except for the GT-R guy driving like a tool. Since he wasn't in an allowed vehicle, his name isn't reflected in the results.
