Assassin Performance Tuning ** M3 '04 TEST CAR Released **

Yay!!! :D and for some cars on your list, you can't install a cf hood.

REEMs RX-7
WRX 22b
Countache Both
M3 CSL
Mustang Cobra-R
HKS-CT230
Sport 20/Protege
Enzo
BTR
CTR
CTR2
RGT

all these cannot have a CF hood...

Stupid Standard/Premium BS. Does the CF hood remove 5kg over it's location f/r or is it a blanket 5kg? Are the standard cars all the same split fully tuned & stock?

Thanks for all the help. The RMs had me a lil baffled on their weight splits.

I'm currently working on a M3. When I get done I'll spend some time looking into the CTR FD2 420-R to try and address some reported understeer to see if it can perform even better. I've also adjusted some gearbox calculations that should allow me to take better advantage of them. I'll post it up when I'm satisfied, but I'm staying far away from GVS I hate this track with FF cars. Spent so much time there trying to figure out wheel angles but the hills and crest on this track make it next to impossible to get consistency that I like. I'll be going to some world tracks for the rest of the Tune.

Currently got my M3 running with CSL's but I feel it should be able to go a touch quicker, should be ready for release shortly.

Hmmm CSL eh? Could it be noobsteer's one by any happy chance? :D

It's not a CSL, it's a M3 GTR hanging with CSL's & hoping will be faster then a CSL (around certain Tracks at least :D ) it should be based on how it looks on paper. I don't recall the GTR being as quick in GT4, but it's been 7 years since I really played GT4.

Any chance I could get another hook up on the car I'm tuning?

M3 GTR :D

CSL & M3 would be fresh too :D more weight distribution :D

The CSL has a perfect 50/50 weight distribution, the M3……not too sure, I'll buy one just to check, M3 GTR? I'm pretty certain I saw one in my UCD, I'll buy that as well, if not, let's just assume it's 50/50 as well :D

I think it might be (if not real colse), gotta love a Street going M3 with a V8 :D

Yea, especially when it actually looks good (Unlike the 'new' one, bleh :yuck:)
Guess what? The new M3 has 50/50 as well…

Nice! (at least)

More power and a touch lighter, should be faster, I've beaten my CSL hot lap at GP/F but still needs more work and to visit some other tracks. I'm going on 50/50 but would like to be sure. Thanks for all the help Bud.

You have a CSL? Is it by any chance fully tuned and on racing soft tyres? :D Nah……it can't be, right?
No problem, glad to help out :)

You can´t compare a M3 GTR with the CSL.

The M3 GTR has a 4 litres while the CSL has a 3.25 litres engine.

M3 and M3 CSL have the same engine and the
M3 GTR and the Race Car have the same engine.

M3 has a 49/51 Weight Balance the other 3 have 50/50.

It sure is maxed out on Racing Soft tires, Matte Grey Paint ;) updated and improved. Tweaked through DFGT.

Oh! A DFGT, eh? What a remarkable coincidence! And will your M3 have a wing by any happy chance? :D

Word?!? 49/51? The fricken V8 is on point. That also explains why I'm getting the best results from a different ARB set up. Thanks!!!

Im comparing them only through chassis. While yeah the CSL doesn't have a V8 it has the same chassis, and was a touch quicker in GT4 if I recall 7 years ago correctly. They are different but have much in common :)

I believe it does, I believe it does. Type-B Baby :D I'll drop it and a few others "refined" through DFGT :D first up though M3 GTR. :D

You can´t give it a rest , can´t you?

I have a DFGT too (but I don´t use it :P) and I´ve also a M3 with a wing.

Lol sorry, got carried away there, it's just that there are so many remarkable similarities…the font type, the tuning style, typing style, all those…and seeing as I'm a kid, I guess I won't know when to stop until I hurt myself…

I'll tell my brother you say hi :D

I need to correct.

The GTR has 49/51 and weights 4 kgs more than the race car (fully weight reduced). The M3 has 50/50

Had added some weight to the cars and removed it now.

hi.... i just finished testing your ctr.... i enjoyed it on the nurbs.

Thanks Bro. Good to hear. I'm working on a M3 after work, when it's done I'm going to see what I can do to the CTR to improve it.
The LSD on the CTR is more suited to the 420-R, the 360-S needs a lil less Accel, maybe a touch less INT.

I'm also going to look at the wheel angles for both of them, GVS is a horrible Track for Tuning FF cars. Those Hills kill the feel, and the RS tires can handle a lil more aggressive Camber.

Glad to hear people are liking the CTR :)

BMW M3 GTR 570-R

This is the Baddest M3, it Bitch Slaps the CSL into the Base M3 as it Passes them both laughing. It's been able to out do my CSL in every aspect. The CSL is GREAT, don't get me wrong, the GTR is just Better.

Packing a potent V8 in place of the Traditional Straight 6, this is the German Muscle car, but a Muscle car that can corner. Don't think for one second that the V8 in place of the I6 makes her a front heavy car or that the balance got overly upset. The V8 and its precision placement actually change the balance from 50/50 to 49/51. This is superb for the Chassis and has only been an improvement.

Ive actually exercised some new techniques with this Build. Ive been taking the recent FF shootout as a learning tool for how others can benefit from my tuning as apposed to only catering to my Driving. I hope they work well for you guys, I haven't had trouble tacking out any CSL Lap record of mine with this Tune, I feel like its going to do the same for many.

Tuner Notes.
While the CSL was one of my Top Dogs in GT4 with the GTR just not sharp enough to keep alongside. The CSL gets passed by the GTR This time around. I'm truly thankful they dialed back on the overly overdone downforce this time around. This GTR is killer.

Enjoy the car.
