Use 3rd gear almost everywhere.

Kept a drift around the whole of the Deep Forest raceway with this tune.

Have fun trying it, and let me know what you think of it.

does anybody know if this tune works with a controller or not ?

I confess that Aston Martins is not one of my favorite car brands in GT5, because its more than that. Its certainly one of my favorite car brands in real life too. From all Aston Martins cars in the game, after work on and play a lot on all models, its easy to say that the DB9 ´03 have the best performance when the subject is drifting. Yes, the DB9 03´ is bettter than the DBS ´06 not only on the paper and the numbers. I reduced the HP in this setup only to fit in 600HP limit rooms, but u can max it and the car will still respond properly. Anyway it stills a top Class A car and can keep up with Class S cars too.

Advices:
---------

- It take some time to get used to his agility, because the DB9 can reach high angles and return with ease, but also it change the drift direction faster than normal. If u want a smoother car in transactions, pick the DBS.

- Doesn´t overspin easily.

- Stable at banked corners.

- Spreads a lot of smoke, but it isnt twitchy on the gas.

- Some small lag between the gears, mostly at 2nd to 3rd in low rpm.

- Fast car all around, corners easily. But with 1392kg, its a heavier car and must an extra care at the breaking points.

- In the middle of the drift, the normal brakes induce overstering and the ebrakes induces understering.

Thanks bro. really apreciate it. =)

I guess it isn't cost effective...sorry ^^" Though how much power would you add?

It has about 450 hp right now n i can slide all the corners in tusukba in 3rd gear i dnt wanna add too much n then it becomes a handful buti wanna add just a little bit so it has that extra ummmmphh, if ya get what i mean...

I think you should make this look like the racing tune forum with alphabetical order to make it easier to find certain cars. Even a space between the car brands would make it a bit easier

I breifly looked through this thread is there a Aston Martin db9 coupe '06 could someone make me a bench Mark tune for drifting and also a Honda nsx type r '02 both used with a controller
Thanks if someone does I really can't think how to set these cars up perfect

Description:

Many people doesn´t like to use JDM racing cars for drifting, for several reasons. It looks weird, the paintjob doesn´t remind a drift car (saved rare cars), the wide body kit, the huge wings, so on, so on and so on... otherwise, its cheap (cose it brings most tunning parts already installed), light, improved aero (front and rear) and with some tweaks can become really good cars, at any track against any car. I already had a Supra for drifting - the au Cerumo (rare and beautifull), but someone asked the tune for the Tom´s Supra, arguing that i could use the same setup. In fact its a completly diferent setup, GT5 doesn´t works in that way. I tested the car at Tsukuba, then Mixed Trouble and finaly Eiger Nordwand (for final finetune in banked corners). Its not probably an ultimate setup, but you can start to drift nicely using this one - even if i still like more the au Cerumo.

Advices:
---------

- Its easy to handle and very stable. Just be awared that as its a natural racing car with a very low height, its easily lose the pace at bumps, zebras and off roads.

- Feint easily, but its controlable. Also the torque rate is a helper.

- Very Stable at banked corners. Totaly able to do corrections in these situations.

- Have some dificulty to keep drifting in longer and open corners.

- Very responsive shift response.

- As any race car, it tends to understers or at least not oversters easily, so i worked my best to kill the grip in this car, even the brakes was set to throw the rear when necessary.

- The use of E-brakes is not mandatory in this car.

Im waiting for the GT Vault comeback:
http://www.gtvault.com/

I remember that from GT3 and some of those settings were taken from the Drift Settings Depot for GT3 .
Edit:
From page 25 and so forth. There have been:
37 tunes and
36 requests

The first post will be revamped again after I get some sleep. I have been looking how the tuning forum does their thing but here is a shortcut incase you don't want to go to the pages:
