Clueless Tunes - Cleaning up (Nov. 23rd)

Have you tried "Slimmer" in the Compact Car Seasonal races?

Tried your tune on the 300C...had issues...trying to fix to suit my driving style. I'll PM you my settings when I'm happy with them. One thing though I don't believe the power limiter is helping out very much. Biggest problem isn't your HP but the Torque and the power limiter doesn't do a lot to reduce that. Have other thoughts but I'll save them for my pm of settings for you to try.

This maybe a stupid question but if I take the supercharger off the 300 will it help with the torque? I'm on my way home right now so I can't check it out for myself for a couple hours.
And thanks again to Desperado, CSLACR, and mafia_boy for the advice and cheering me up (the open road can get to ya sometimes), and to JG for the review on the Beat (it is a fun little car). Something good coming up next :)

post saved for saint////👍

I love a saint.

Keep on tuning please. Some people do not post but try the tunes.

I'll give an example, my idiot brother has been at GTPlanet as long as I have. But he has been a guest and not contributed at all. He tries tunes and then uses them against me. So when he finds your tunes then I guess he will be trying to organize a Beat race.

Well I'm glad you like them. Thank you very much. Is there a car you would like to take your brother on that maybe I can help you with? And by the way I think I can get maybe a little more out of the "BEAST":dopey:

The Saint is a very easy car to drive. Lap after lap she will be very consistant and never very more then a couple tenths. And at over 400bhp she can turn some very fast laps as well.

Deep Forest- 1:17.182
Trial MT. - 1:28.227
Tsukuba- 0:56.094

The Sinner is very touchy. If you are to aggressive with the gas, or if you get slightly off track he well send you spinning. But he is a liilte faster then the Saint and if you can put down a clean lap it can be very rewarding.

Deep Forest- 1:12.910
Trial MT.- 1:25.645
Tsukuba- 0:54.100

So who are you?
A Saint - Steady, even, calm, and easy going
A Sinner - Crazy, twitchy, deadly, and a speed freak?

try them and find out!

Thanks for stopping by. Hope you get time to try a tune at some point :). Thanks again

Was looking at your 300C tune again right before I headed to work. I'm pretty sure that removal of the supercharger will show a significant reduction in torque. Also think you need to check the transmission settings you have listed in the tune. I believe your missing a gear. Think the setting you have listed as 5th should be 6th and you need the proper 5th gear numbers.

I'll have to check that out when I get home. That's what I was thinking about the supercharger when you mentioned to much torque. I'll mess around with it later today. Thanks for help :D

EDIT= fixed the tranny settings, now it has 6 gears :). Removed the supercharger, ran it, and the torque was way better. Maxed out the limiter and turned it into a 600C :D. Still some oversteer so a a little work needed yet but the car is finaly fun to drive! Thanks for pointing it out!

This isn't so much a tune as it is reliving my youth. My very first car that I bought with my own money was a 1975 Volkswagen Rabbit, yellow, 5 speed, and very bad brakes. So when I saw that GT5 had a '76 VW Golf I was very happy. :D So what I did was put parts on the car that are comparible to the parts I fitted to the car back in the day. So if you ever wanted to know what a 17 year old krenkme drove to work and school, wonder no more:dopey:
I present to you:

i found that while tuning the saint, there was an error with 2nd gear as i could not set it to 2.879

Sorry about that. I'll be home late today and will look into it. I'll get it updated as soon as I can. Thanks for bring it to my attention. Hope she treats you well :)

EDIT=solved problem and fixed. Thanks.

thanks. It will most likely be the middle ground between saint and sinner, perhaps the army soldier, because i added some hp upgrade for some punch.

Army soldier I like that! There is a big difference between the two as hp goes (the sinner can get to 900+ hp with supercharger, to much torque). Tell me what you did to her once so maybe I can create the "army soldier" when I get home (total credit to you) :D

A fellow GTP member, Gallade475, was looking for a special kind of Viper tune for the GTS '02. I had two in my garage but not quite what Gallade was looking for. What Gallade did was tell me the parts that I should add to "The Saint", so I did and started the tune. I tuned it, Gallade named it, and Clueless Tunes presents to you -

Another Viper tune brought to you by Clueless Tunes with assistence from Gallade475. This car is surprisingly stable with its sport soft tires. Slight overstear on corner exit if your foot (or thumb in my case:dunce:) is heavy, but other than that the car is very fun to drive:tup:. Thank you for letting me give you a tune. Enjoy :D, and have fun:dopey:

it looks great! i use it all the time when i race. its also good for 600 pp racing if you a add small bit to it.
I normally race with tcs 1 and srf+ASM and it feels like its stuck to the road. I TRIED TO SLIDE IT, but it does not get out of shape at all. It lets you have fun, but not kill yourself in the process like *cough*beerpong*cough*

Thanks! Had a lot of fun tuning it ;D. I might enter it it the 600pp shootout we got going on, but I'll have to adjust the gearing a bit. Thanks again!

No rear wing for this car, because I like the look of it better off. Good acceleration, and easy to drive. If you get to aggressive it will send you spinning, but she's easy to catch. With this gearing set-up the top speed is only 135mph, so if you're using it on tracks with longer straits then Trial Mountain adjust with Final gear. Fun car, have fun:dopey:

I'm not lokking for anything by this.

Ten years ago (9/11/01) my Godfather, Paul, wished his kids good luck at school, and kissed his wife good-bye.... for the last time. A long time employee for the government headed to work at the five sided building not knowing what would be his fate. I miss him, I love him!

So for one of the people that told me that racing is not always about turning left, and for a man that had a challange with me for who would reach 400k miles first (his the Honda Accord '88, and mine a '89 Ford Festiva) I know he is looking down, and happy that I have carried on his love of cars, love and family.

To him this is my tribute...

Now that, that, I'm going to test. I like driving cars which means something to the tuner. Especially if it's in memory of someone important.
