I pick up Senna on Blu-Ray and the GT5 Complete pack DLC. I would post pictures but it's a hassle on the iPhone app and you all know what they look like.

:D

So you'll finally move off the bottom of my PSN list...planning on doing anymore remote B-Speccing? ;)

Bob can bite me if he thinks he's getting more seat time than I do after 6 months of nothing!

That and with U3 I'm sure I'll be busy for a while. Now the long wait for it to be delivered...

...followed by the long wait downloading all the updates and patches :ouch:

I think U3 will be going on my Christmas wishlist unless I see a good deal when it comes out.

There is that, isn't there? :irked:

160Gb PS3 - $250
320Gb PS3 - $300
320Gb PS3/U3 Bundle - $300 (plus $0.99 release day shipping)

It wasn't a difficult decision. My only "fear" is if I'll be missing something having not played Among Thieves. For ~$25 that little purchase might very well show up in this thread, too. :P

Among Thieves is amazing, go get it.

~ $100

The audio quality is just fantastic, not perfect, but I've never heard better for $100, it's got 5.1 surround, bass boost, and an Xbox/PC compatible mic, so I doubt I'll be replacing them any time soon.

Picked this up at the LBS (local bike shop). The owner builds a new top end bike every year and sell it at the end of our northwest cycling season. So I got it for $5500. To build this bike from the ground up I would have tp spend approx. $13,000. So I spent my limit and made out like a bandit compared to similarly priced new bikes.
(2011 S-works are about $6,000 right now)

Why? same reason anyone spends cash on the things they love.

Quick spec's:
57 cm carbon frame
Carbon seat post, stem, fsa bars,
Camagnolo Super Record brake levers, front/rear derailers, chain, sprockets, cassete, crankset
EE cycleworks brakes
Reynolds pbrakepads
Look keo carbon pedals
Zipp 404 carbon clinchers wheelset
Selle lite 209 w/carbon rails.
Weight with computer and pedals= 15.64 lbs.

Historical signifigance- Cadel Evans TDF winner 2k11 on the BMC team machine SLR01

I bought this 2 days ago, replaced the griptape, purchased new look pedals, had a little freebie maintenence work done and boom, it's virtually indistinguishable from brand new, and the guy is giving me his full bike shop support as long as I need it.

Today I took it for a little 25 miler. Have you ever switched from a high mileage middle of the field sports car(camaro, mustang, miata, 350z, celica, prelud, etc). To a no budget, barely legal race car ( Aventador, Zonda, Bugatti, Mclaren, whatever). Very similar feeling I had today. Like I just shifted my viewpoint on the sport and I comprehend something I did not before, now that I experienced it. I am extremely pleased.

Coffee Beans.

Recommended by a workmate who also runs a cafe.
Not sure what to make of it yet to be honest, seems to almost have a hint of tea flavour as well. I'll play around with the grind a bit and see how I go.

Cheers Shaun.

I respect a man who knows his coffee 👍.

Picked this up at the LBS...carbon, carbon, carbon, carbon, carbon, carbon, carbon!

Ditto what Shem said and I'm not even a roadie  That is a seriously nice bike 👍

Things I have bought because the back wheel on my mountain bike was making a very bad noise the last time I rode it...

Cone spanners £6
Chain whip £6
Cassette remover £4
HUGE allen keys to remove freehub £8
New ball bearings £7

...after using all that to strip the hub I've discovered it is well and truly knackered as the bearing surfaces are rough as a bears bum and the freehub has got loads of play in it :grumpy: As it's a cheap wheel it's not worth rebuilding it with a new hub so I'll have to get a new back wheel which will set me back about £85 for something that won't disintegrate before the winter is over :grumpy:

YOU. HAVE. NO. IDEA. HOW. JEALOUS. I. AM.
I know, right?👍 Actually I am sure there is a word for my strange emotion right at that moment when I show it to someone, and I feel like I am a bragger, but really I would like for everyone to have their dream bike also. :guilty:

Been down that road before brother, most low end wheels are scrap after they start acting up. The good news is you have new tools, but that can be a risky DIY procedure.

I don't know if they deliver overseas, but bicycle wheel warehouse has cheap wheels for thrashing on.

The thing I love about road bikes is watching peoples jaw drops when you talk about their expense. I mean, it is incomprehensible to some of them that bikes can cost anywhere upwards of 25k 'for time trial bikes'. Thats car and motorbike money!

That BMC bike is beautiful though!

@ p-coletray - shem + Neal = me

Er, that came out wrong...

For the right price I'm sure I could talk Shem into it, it's extra if you want to video it....

Don't be ashamed about being proud of it, it's a lovely piece of engineering and should be admired for that...as long as you don't act like Cartman it's all good ;)

I enjoy spannering and am fairly competent so don't really mind buying more tools and it saves me borrowing them off my brother. The cheap bottom bracket went at the same time but it was easy and cheap to replace, the wheels are more expensive to replace but I'll be keeping the bike for a couple of years so I don't really mind the outlay. I am finding that the components on cheap mountain bikes aren't really up to proper off road riding when it's wet and muddy :irked:

As is usually the case when I start looking at replacement parts I talk myself into a bit of an upgrade at the same time so I may replace the front at the same time and get a pair of these which have cartridge bearings :D

Picked up a new mouse for the computer, I loved my MX Revolution but the scroll wheel couldn't take any more scrolling and the battery was not holding a charge really well. I opted for a corded mouse this time around because I was always forgetting to charge the other one.

For $2 out of nowhere. I was just sitting at work when I got a text saying I could have this because my mom got the iPad 2. I just gave her all I had in my pocket at the moment....which was $2.

But then, now that I have an iOS device and don't need to worry about DRM:

Yes that says $49.99.

Are those blu-rays or just DVD's? I really think I need to add that to my very small library of movies.

I already have the trilogy on DVD, this new release is the Blu-Ray version.

If someone wants my DVD set, I'm willing to let it go for cheap. Great condition. :)
