Spa was easy... sarthe, not so much!

Spa - Xanavi Skyline '08 on this tune. Start on Intermediates, refuse to pit. Stay hot as much as possible. Easy win.
First try I finished 11th in the Audi R8 '01. Did some more spa and did b-spec 24h le mans to get the TS020... and to up my Bobs as much as possible.

Toyota GT-One TS020 using this tune
Lvl 31 and 25 BoBs with virtually no career bar (lvled mostly through remote race)
Started on Hards
Pitted end of second, went in 7th, came out 10th.
End of 3rd into 1st as everyone pits.
End of 4th gap is at 13.4 secs to the 787B
End of 5th, gap is 22.35 secs to the Pescarolo c60 (787 is down to 4th)
End of 6th, gap is 20.69 secs to the Audi R8 '05
I let my driver down to mid-pace for 6 and 7
Pitted end of 7th in 1st. Put on new intermediates, 0 fuel and changed driver. exited pit in 5th. Got driver hot as soon as he got on the first straight and kept him there
End of 8th, still in 5th as bob wanted a little beach holiday and did the silly go-slow thing after getting back on the track. gap is at +23.79 secs
Cancelled pit on 9th, flew back into 1st as everone was in pits. kept driver mid-pace and he cruised through to victory - 40:28, gap 13.516

will experiment next with only one pit stop - start on hards, pit at end of 3rd and put on intermediates. Based on tyre wear in this race it shouldnt be an issue as i repaced tyres both times with over 50% remaining.

won the mazda 787B off the ticket... might give it a go with that next

Im not sure why people are having such a hard time on sarthe. The audi 01 pretty much does it with no help.start off with hards Pit on lap 4 going into lap 5 and let him run dont pit again use intermediates . I have done this 5 times and won by huge margins. They pit on the last lap you keep going. Easy 6 million.

My driver still pits on lap after I cancel. Any ideas?

If you cancel when the yellow P in his tag is lit he won't come in. If it's not lit he won't come in either.

yeah i had the same issue on the race i'm doing at the moment. I had hit cancel, but it came back on only just before he pitted end of 7th...

figure if i you keep the menu open on cancel, and as he enters the chicane in the last section the pit light comes on, cancel then - you have about 15 seconds to do it. or is it a mandatory pit stop?

Just ran this again with the Yellowhat Supra. It absolutely waltzed this race in. 1st place at lap 5, stopped with everyone else at 7 and won by 15 secs. Figure the Woodone Supra would be just as good or better, as it had the same engine, but bored out futher... (rule loophole ftw!)

--edit--
use this tune for the Yellowhat. Can drop the top speed a little...

A-Spec Online:

400PP at Autumn Ring: AE86 Trueno
500PP at (I forgot lol :P): TRD Celica
650PP at Grand Valley: GT-R Spec V '09

online de la sarthe.. what a nightmare ! .. the closest i got before finding this thread was 2nd with a lv 25 bob.. was driving a pescalaro judd, 800hp, standard downforce ... racing hard for the first 3 laps... with pure luck, managed to get out of the pits 2nd just behind the r8, kept him, and myself hyped up in the red for quite some time, pretty much leaving the rest for dead... on the last lap however, i thought i was clever, not pitting with 1/4 of the intermediates ... just after the long straight, tyres were shot :(... he just couldn't put the power down and r8 sailed by.. had i pit in on lap 8, he wouldn't have had anyone to hype him for the last lap and i would've sailed past on fresh intermediates and a fresh bob while he pitted. coming out 2nd from the pits never happened again and struggled with 7th finishes

after reading this thread, stock chaparal 2j, oil change, medium turbo, gear ratio set at 255mph, start with sports soft, 3/4 hype, no more no less, change to intermediates at lap 3, half hype for the rest of the race, cancel pit... won by 5s, with a level 27 cool bob, could win by more with a better bob.

the chaparal's corner exit grip in the rain is just pure DON, so uncanny, leaves the other cars for DEAD... even with half hype.. braking is poor though

Just won the Spa race with a level 11 Bob(moderately hot personality). 2000 Arta NSX fully modded, max areo, and power limited to proper PP limit, intermediate tires, and no pit. Huge EX gains!! Jumped to level 24!! I am starting to enjoy this b-spec thingy!!

Spa was the easiest. Used the Raybrig NSX '08 with my level 36 bob and pushed him through laps 1 and 2, then pulled back to conserve tire wear. It worked out perfectly and won by 30 seconds.

La Sarthe was definitely a challenge. Lost the first time using the Nissan R92CP because of early tire wear and pushing my bob too much. Played again using the Audi R8 Team Playstation '05 and won by .0026 of a second!! I guess it just depends on when to pit and how you control your bob in the end. I also hear Sports-Soft's work well on the track. Need to re-run it again within the next few days :)

B-Spec Sarthe Circuit 2009/ 10 laps won it 3 times.

1 bob lvl 38
First with Mazda 787B tuned to 700PP, max downforce, 235 MPH.
First 3 laps with racing H tyres, then racing Inter. till the end.

2 bobs lvl 38 and 38 :-)
Second was Chaparral 2J, max downforce, 230 MPH around 650PP
Pitted 3 times, first 3 laps with racing H, 6 laps with racing Inter. and final lap with racing H.

2 bobs both lvl 38
Third was Nissan R92CP, max downforce, 250 MPH. 700PP
Pitted 3 times, first 3 laps with racing H and racing Inter. till the end.

I have to say it wasn't an easy task, but it was manageable :-)

Oh, and i did SPA with diablo nomad, forgot how it was tuned (bob lvl 38)

I just ran lvl 40 BoB (F. Schumacher) on Spa with ARTA NSX and gave him about 4 instructions and he won by 3/4 of a lap.

RH tyres for 3 laps then inters then lap 8 I let him auto pit for RH again, worked a total treat, now to try Sarthe again 👍

The 2J owns this race, even though it has 50 PP less than its competetion! set gear ratio to 400 km/h, start on hard tires and your worst driver then and pit on lap 3 (PS) does it for you, switch driver and go to inters, then you have won!
P.S. You can pit on lap 9 dosent really matter oponents does and you'll win no matter what.

Sounds like a plan but I got no 2J!!

just beat Grand Valley in an F40. Won by just over a second, even though there were a few less than perfect bits. A really fun race.

I'm addicted to the 500PP race on Trial Mountain.

This race is so much fun with cars around 430PP on sports tires.
Or 470 on comfort tires :sly:

Finally got around to doing Sarthe.

Car: Audi R8 Race Car (Audi Playstation Team Oreca)) '05

BoB: F. Schumacher Lvl 40

Result: 1st

Margin: 4.5 seconds

Tune: Downforce: 48/71, 800bhp, 700pp, High RPM turbo, detuned to 91.7% and using RH tyres to start.

Driver instruction: Constant!

It was nerves all the way!!! Schumy came out all guns blazing and made his way to 1st at bottom Mulsanne straight on lap 3. I let him pit on lap 3 and he went in first and came out first, just... See there were 4-5 absolute idiot BoBs doing their best to. block up the pits & it near caused disaster but Schumy came out and looked to build his lead.

Fairly uneventful few laps saw me slowing him down on any non straight section and letting the Bently Speed 8 catch up so the tyres did not wear too fast. BS8 made his move and overtook on lap 7 but I figured he would have used some tyres catching up and I appeared correct as he started losing huge time and Schumy took the lead back mid lap 8 & consolidated.

Was considering not pitting on lap 9 but decided to as the lead was around 10 seconds so it was a safe bet... until pit lane shenannigans reared their ugly head again and halved my lead but I still came out on RH in front with 38% water.

The last lap consisted of Schumy trying to keep on the track & me frantically ordering him to reduce pace!! It was a hairy last lap but he took it out by just under 5 seconds :D

All up it was easily the best Bspec race I've ever done, if you have not done it yet guys make sure you do before it is taken down, I highly recommend it :)

high rpm turbo
weighed down to 700pp
level 31 and 30 bobs
