Thought I was on list #2 first, but checked at home and found out it was list #1...

Modified the GT5 matrix-sheet somewhat, such that it includes the most rarest / expensive cars and I can be on the look-out for some of these models.

Saw there was quite a big gap in ML#1 however around day 1700, so maybe I'll collect some data once I reach this day (now around day 1200 of ML#1, gameday ~2000). Or I believe I read CLIBBY34 was also doing another run through on a second account?

Got around 500 cars in total now, but only need about 120M credits for the remainder of the cars (with the most valuable / rare ones (some 100) accounting for 105M ).

This recalls what I did this summer, thanks to the great coverage made by jaymanji until day 3000 in ml#2. I was about day 2200 when looked for this list hunting for last 100 cars.....

.... and my was the Vertigo. Some cars keep you waiting for more than 1500 days before popping in UCD. I'm actually in day 3744. If, at given time, you are still intended to help, I can share my data enter tools

I'll be sure to poke you when I get near 3800 gamedays ( maybe in a week or two, I've got a few cars to break in from the DLCs ... can you believe I've barely used any DLC/collector car ? I gotta get back to those stealth/chromelines

.... and an offset of 0-xx days is normal. What is the biggest shift posted by an user? I never saw a 50+ one. Mine is 44

gt5cars.net is an external site administred by GTP member encoded, which database is built upon our lists.
You should contact him if you want to update the site with last versions of the list. If you want access to such updated data directly by this thread, look at TornadoAlley signature (look some pages behind this one).

EDIT: encoded last login in GTP was in november.

I think I'm speaking for the other guys too, in that we'd prefer the data in a tabular format if possible? So perhaps Excel / Openoffice / Googledocs spreadsheet?
It's quite easy to mix data between columns otherwise... (plus an attachment doesn't take up most of a forum page )

It is possible to export the data like this if that's not easily done however.

Also, I hope I'm not being thick (), but I can't see which days the lists (other than the first hextet) represent?

These lists are awesome work, especially helpful to gain insight when you'll be needing the credits for the Chapparal's etc.

With the seasonal B-spec on Spa (4 million credits every 27 mins), I figured this is THE month to finally get all the cars in the game!

Currently at 865 cars, so making some good progress with all the premiums already out of the way and only some 60 of the rarest and most valuable (>1M) UCD cars left (and some 'regular' ones of course). Just needing around 80M credits to buy the remaining models, with the 2J making up most of this budget. With a bit of 'luck' and persistency I'll be having most cars by the time the seasonal event ends.

The gap in ML#1 is pretty big unfortunately (after 1725 days) and I refuse to believe a Chapparal 2J and R8 Race Car '01 will only show up after another 2000 days... So probably it will come up in the 'gap' somewhere, since this thread said the max. amount of days between show ups has been around 2000 (for ML#2).

So I figured most of the cars not showing up again in ML#1 after day 1166 (my starting point) and before day 1725, will come up in the 'gaps' after this gameday since the coverage beyond that point is really scattered. Still have some 400 gamedays left before I reach the point where I can start logging the UCD, maybe I'll post around that time again here to see if you have some convenient sheet / way to enter the data.

Hi bro. It was nice of you. Good collection of database of used cars. I have brought a used BMW car a couple of months back. I have satisfied with it's performance. Less maintenance cost. Better than the new one. I really like used cars.

Signed. I'm just progressing fast forward on ML#1. Every now and then when my budget drops under 16 millions, I'll have Bob riding the NSX.

Good news for you: the 2J (which I already had) just showed up between 2000 and 2039 of my racedays (+50/-50 for the list). Followed by the 2D (which I was looking for ) shortly after.. By the way, there's also an Escudo lurking on the way 👍

About completing the list: I have put a gamesave of my day 1608 aside. This is way before the gap of the ML#1. I am thinking about some automated transcription of the UCD using gimx (game input multiplexer). This is a piece of software which allows a computer with a compatible bluetooth dongle to input commands (keypresses) to the PS3 just like a sixaxxis does.
I am thinking about looping a script which enters a race, goes back to the UCD and then uses a webcam or something to take a "screenshot" of the UCD just like other users have done.
To carry things to extremes, theres also the option to take a screenshot of every single car (per day). This would preserve the color information and other things. These images may be processed using some OCR software. As we know all the specific manufacturers and car names + color names, there should be little room for error. Just some thoughts which were spinning in my mind today. I'll get back to it when I have all standard cars. It's just to tempting to shout Bob to an easy win at Spa to fill my garage

Nice! 2J between 2000-2050 sounds a lot better dan around 3300... I figured it had to show up somewhat earlier, otherwise it would have been a 2000 day gap or something... They better put the R8 Race Car '01 in the OCD or have it show up around 2000 as well, otherwise I have to cycle endlessly for that one... That R8 Race Car '01 has the oddest 'rhythm', days 292, 507, 543, 571, 695, 803, 3006 (!). So it goes 'dark' for at least 900 days of zo (800-1700), so I figure it should show up around that gap too, otherwise it would be very strange and by far the longest wait...

The 2D I have bought already and seen once more after that (around gameday 1500), Escudo is also one of the cars that hasn't shown up after day 1200. There are about 10-15 of them which only showed up before the day I started hunting cars (1160) and probably are somewhere in the gaps. Just have some 100 standard-cars to go now (bought all the premiums first) and will be needing around 55 million credits for them, so pretty easily done with the B-spec...

About the logging of the data, your automated-system sounds awesome (but hard to devise probably...). I figured I'll be making photo's of the UCD and they can be processed later on in Excel or something...

That's an impressive task you're describing. I'll be keeping an eye on that project if it ever comes to life
