GT5 girl gamers ??

You know My GF has an account but only for the purpose of playing Sacred 2 together, I might use that (yes with her knowledge) and just go online without saying or doing a damn thing and see what the reaction is... I bet a years wages that I know exactly what will happen.... and you know what? I might even put her on the mic and see how that goes down.

Then I get back on my profile and unleash hell :mad:

Fact of the matter is this: Most guys can neither control themselves or their mouth and that is why female gamers avoid mic's and announcing themselves, if male players learned how to respect them, and each other for that matter, they would not feel the need to stay hidden which I am sure is not their preference but an action necessary due to the multitude of Richard Craniums out there in cyber land!

It seems like if girls are quick and don't use mic's then everyone assumes they're a guy... I guess I just ended up with a cyber-sex change then, seeing I don't have a mic and tend to be pretty speedy... I don't advertise I'm a girl on PSN, I changed my account for that reason and here's why; I'm fed up of being added by 5 guys in every lobby and them try and hit on me, flirt with me and try to ask 100 personal questions, so that might be why some girls out there don't advertise it.

I'll admit you'll probably smash me into the ground, I'm rocking a dual shock pad and I'm not that great with it haha! But it must suck to not fully relax with a game because someone might fight out youre a girl (god forbid you'll be getting to vote next)
I know only a handful of 'proper' gamers who are girls (we all know of the posers who 'play' Call of duty because its the in thing) I met one in a forum and only discovered she was a girl when she trash talked me after smashing me on Wipeout.

Just one question for you... do you find guys transfare the 'Woman Drivers' thing into the GT world? Because that must get tired and old really quickly!

I have raced with Jasmine29 and this person is on my friends list. I like you have my doubts that this is really a girl. You are right this person is really fast and wins alot. I have clicked on compare trophies and noticed that GT5 is the only game that comes up that this person has played on the PS3. I have also noticed this person has not even bothered to do do any of the licence tests and only had about 25 cars in there garage when I first started racing this person.
It just seems funny that a girl would buy a PS3 and a copy of GT5 and that is the only game they want to play. I'm thinking it is a male and this is his second account he started after he learned to play GT5. It is just hard to believe that a girl buys GT5 goes straight online and starts spanking the room right from the start. If this really is a girl she is very good and a fast learner.

It's a dude(played with them too a few times, and we got into it once, and pardon me for saying this, but NO girl uses that grammer and language). Every game has them(it was Mayra, or MayKay[not their full PSN id] in RockBand).👎 It's always someone(guy) who is great, or very good, but because they are a guy and use some lame-o gamertag, they get very minimal attention, if any at all. Creating an alternate account is all to easy in PSN world, and staying off the mic ensures you not to be caught and called out, and acting as a girl gets you 100 times more attention/compliments/random FR's. But like you say, no trophies in other games = Dude. I'm sorry to assume, but NO girl buys a $300 PS3, $60 copy of GT5 and buys internet to only play (only)GT5 online. Prove me wrong someone, and if you do, I'd bet that person is FARRR from cute. Hate to sound shallow, but girls don't dig motorsports like us guys who can talk about cars all day to each other.

On a side note, my GF plays GT5 with me(her on the DS3, me on the DFGT wheel she bought me). When the PSN was down for what seemed like months, we'd race every night on custom tracks we both had created. That was some of the most fun I have had on GT5.:) She would win just as often as I did, too! Her favorite car, a moon rock metallic painted 350Z(Z34)(pink is for douches) ;)
 
I'm still waiting for a girl to blast the mic, doesn't happen often.

I have 13 friends who are girls on PSN, 12 of them play GT5. I have lost to more than one of them more than once. In this game it shouldn't matter what the gender is, as long as you are having fun racing.

The only thing I would change is "in this game" to "in any game".

The problem is a percentage of males... even in a virtual world they can't control themselves... it is really quite pathetic and gives the rest of us a bad name, and we got enough of that gong on IRL without dumba$$es online doing it too :mad:

? was beating the room, as I was watching, with every aid on in a Stealth NSX.
? Bragged about " beat by a girl".
I said "Mic up or BS"
? kicked me fast. Still have yet to actually hear a girl in GT5.
Did see a Kitten 08 or something that actually might have been a girl floating around. But still no proof of chicks on GT5.

I think most guys are so desperate to run into a living breathing female GT5er that they won't believe anything until they hear it for themselves... pure BS in my opinion but there it is; epic sadness but that's just how some guys are 👎

There ARE girls on GTP they just wisely stay anon for the most part, it is a terrible shame that they need to do so but some of the "chaps" around here have nefarious motives so it is necessary.

Not in my world. If girls do exist here. They are definitely smart to hide where ever they hide at.
My take's are just about how they are rare, or in my case never observed. I have never met one. They might be around, but I am not looking for them.

Just think this thread was funny for trying to draw them out. With little or no success I might add.
I personally think there are more people pretending to be girls around than actual girls.

It's just some people act like children about seeing the girl gamers so they usually probably stay under the radar so there inbox's don't get filled with with lame messages and an overload of fr's. I don't blame them really.

That's what I was thinking. My friend wouldn't join me because he was playing with some girl he randomly met. Really? I always join personal friends if I'm on the same game even with some random people.

Amusing thread this, made me laugh. For sure there are female GT5 racers, I have done very little online racing so far but have raced against at least one female racer. Girls I know dig cars, especially gt road and race cars from '60 and '70 when curves, capacity and more cylinders ruled over downforce and FIA regs, just my kinda thing, however girls don't feel the need to get a driving game and live out the driving fantasy the way men do. Thumbs up and a hearty welcome to those that do. Especially if they also know why the GT5 Chap 2J is inacuarate and all the better for it.

Side note; it really is comical (shameful?) watching children acting silly when girls play, no wonder they, as someone has already said; choose to "stay under the radar" :(

Personally if a girl joins my drift room I won't act much different bcos at the end of the day they're not the lovely girl in my custom member title :)
