don't doubt the power of women! my older sister enjoys GT5(sadly she refuses to drive seriously most of the time)
i do however find it stupid and a sign of ignorance when a female racer beats people online then proceeds to "HAHAHA! losers! you got beaten by a girl!" as if i'm supposed to give a d@mn about the gender of the winning driver

I don't think they actually exist....but if they do..they are smart to hide. There's this Jasmine29 Girl I see in lobbies, allegedly. But she doesn't use a mic or act like a girl so I have my doubts. The person is quick though and routinely spanks the room in,(in competiton). My guess is it's a dude looking for some attention. I think if there were a women or girl playing this game, she'd be using the mic and not afraid of a little banter with some men. Girls get ultimate respect because we want them around of course. Seems odd one would isolate herself without a mic. So until I hear one or it's proven with pics. They don't exist.

But aside from that, don't underestimate the ladies. Last night I was in an online race with a girl that was trash talking better than the guys in the room and backing it up. They may be few and far between but they are out there.

I have only one person on my friends list that probably likes and plays GT5 as much as I do, and he's a male, lol. Although I would definitely like to play GT5 with a girl, but some more people would be nice.

I've been racing online with girls every now and then ever since (probably starting with NFSU).
Usually they are fast, good racers and I admit it's nice to hear a female voice, but ultimately mics are just a big distraction for me regardless gender, so I usually mute everyone.
I remember chatting with a girl on NFSC forever, she wasn't a good racer guess just wanted to chat.

girls on GT5 are like dinos roaming the earth never see 'em but it would be cool another but when my Dodge Challenger cross peoples path the go in the oppisit direction haha it only has 850+HP people hahaha i mostly drive that baby

I have raced with Jasmine29 and this person is on my friends list. I like you have my doubts that this is really a girl. You are right this person is really fast and wins alot. I have clicked on compare trophies and noticed that GT5 is the only game that comes up that this person has played on the PS3. I have also noticed this person has not even bothered to do do any of the licence tests and only had about 25 cars in there garage when I first started racing this person.
It just seems funny that a girl would buy a PS3 and a copy of GT5 and that is the only game they want to play. I'm thinking it is a male and this is his second account he started after he learned to play GT5. It is just hard to believe that a girl buys GT5 goes straight online and starts spanking the room right from the start. If this really is a girl she is very good and a fast learner.

I don't advertise I'm a girl on PSN, I changed my account for that reason and here's why; I'm fed up of being added by 5 guys in every lobby and them try and hit on me, flirt with me and try to ask 100 personal questions, so that might be why some girls out there don't advertise it.

I know right. Any girl with a desire to compete with men is probably going to want to verbalize their ownage of them I would assume. Or at least have some fun with them. Could be wrong, but I know I am going to really trip on it every time I run into jasmine now. Hope I don't pop off too much when I am drunk and say too much. Here's another angle. What if this "?" is just so good that ? duped a female account to gain some favor in lobbies ? might ordinarily piss people off in. You know everyone would treat ? differently if ? were a man. ? would probably find it hard to find a lobby where people did not resent ?'s skills and want to take a few shots at ?. Guaranteed clean racing. Very interesting theory to me. I might just try it.
