I tried that. My wife doesn't quite understand how to drive, though, even after doing the license tests.
Me - "Brake before the corner"
Her - "I am"
Me - "No, you're braking during the corner"
Her - "No I'm not"
Me - "Yes you are"
Her - "When does the corner start?"
Me - "When you start to turn"
Her - "I'm trying to, but it won't turn while I'm braking"
Me - "That's why you brake before you start to turn"
Her - "I don't get it"
Me - "Brake then turn"
Her - "That's what I'm doing"

Her - "This is too hard. You do it"
Me - *sigh*
It's very frustrating ... especially since she brakes during turns in real life and one of these days it's going to get us hurt or killed

This weekend we bought a second PS3, wheel, and copy of GT5 just so we could both play at the same time. We opened a lounge and raced each other and believe me, there was no 'letting' the other win. It was full-on every man/woman for themselves, but also trying to race clean and no dirty tricks or ramming. It was fantastic fun!

My GF likes to race with me once in a while and this is EXACTLY what she does. I keep suggesting (only once or twice per session, I don't hound her) to brake before the turn and still she's always sliding off into the sand or grass. It's better to brake too much/too early than to brake too late, because you can always adjust your approach if you've got the wiggle room (brake a little later next time, or whatever) i.e. err on the side of caution and go from there. Fortunately she does not drive in real life the way she does with a DS3, actually she's safe and smart and also fast, except for her significantly delayed reactions (which really scare my poops out) and the way she stays on the gas when approaching a red light *good grief* ... I suggest she looks a little further ahead and lets off the gas and coast to a red (saves gas and brakes) but oh well. We're not dead yet.

I just thought I would update this thread for the benefit of any other girls reading it. I have now been a member of C.R.A.P. racing for a month and loved every minute of it. A great bunch of people to chat to and race with, and I liked it so much I suggested my daughter joined too, which she has.
Girls, if you want a decent group of people to race against, C.R.A.P. is a fantastic group.👍

If A girl joins my group and they drift cleanly I ask them if they ever want to drift with me again add me as a friend and il invite them but if a girl is in my group and people are being rude or sexist towards them I kick them because when it happens to my fiancé on cod she gets upset so I know how they feel

Just recently encountered one. She was mic-less but it was obvious she was a girl by her name. She beat everyone in my room ten races in a row. I thought i was Schumacher for a moment in my room. But I was proven wrong by a girl. She was very nice though, we all treated each other with respect. I wish online was this nice.

I've known hollow as well. Met other girls online on GT5, but none of them were good drivers like her. Even if you are a girl, you need to be good at GT5 to get the attention. 👍

I've met quite a few good female drivers but I agree Hollow is way better than I am at the 'Ring (and probably every other track except for the ones I created because she's never raced there
