This is my new Garage!

BYPO TUNING GARAGE!

I am a lover of the GT5 franchise and most of all, CARS!
With this garage, i will try to offer some tunes that can help those who can not do their basic tunes or does not have the time for it..
I'll share my personal tunes, always, the ones i use when racing offline or online.. :)
I use both DS3 and a wheel - DFGT -, so the tunes are not specific for each one, unless i specifically say in the tune! However i do tune my cars to be played equally in both controllers, because sometimes i just feel like using one or the other so i try to do a tune for both and i do test it with both before release.

Anything more, i will update in this post ;)

Oh and i'll take requests.. ;)

Greetings, Bypo

Comment:

I tuned this car for 600pp races, specifically. Its a very good, easy, fast car!
This tune works very well for me, in all flat tracks like Monza, Suzuka, Spa, Cape Ring, Laguna Seca.. and so on.
For nurburgring, i think it just needs a bit softer spring rates. If anyone is interested in that, i'll do it. ;)
There isn´t a lot to say about the car. Looks cool, is very safe to drive for everyone with this tune, very fast and it works online to! I run it in Racing Hard Tyres and the grip is bang on! ;)
Try it and say something. :P

Comment:

Well, another DLC tune, i know, but this car is so fun to drive!
I tuned it to 450pp, and using Sport Soft Tyres, it can make you laugh a lot!
Think of it like an old Peugeot 205 gti! Or a Renault Super 5 Turbo!
I have driven both, and they were both some of the funnier cars i have ever driven! My father had a Renault Super 5 turbo in his days, and he still says that it was one of best cars he ever had..
The lift off oversteer, the agility (for is wheight of course is really impressive), the chunkyness of it.. This mini is really cool!
I wonder if it is so cool to drive as a real car? 💡

Fellow racers, i should say also that i will do any requests! ;)
Tunes for Circuit racing, in any pp range, or Drift (i have some good drift tunes), or Rally, i will gladly do! ;D
Nascar and drag is not my thing however..

PS: If someone has tried the two tunes above, please tell me something about them.. :guilty:

Oh and, how do i adjust the size of the pictures in this thread? :S i dont know how to that.. :S

Hello my friend, good to see you with a new garage , good luck.
Why don´t you link the name of the tune to his own post ??
Better than the page number i think, when you will have a lot of cars, can be complicate like this....
Congratulations, have a good day.

Well, i love drift also :P
This is one of my favourite cars for drifting, a very beautiful car (very ugly for others ), very VERY easy to drift with, and by PD standards, he can achieve a lot of points.. ;)
Keep it in 2nd and 3rd gears, 4th when in a very long turn, and you will be fine.. even smashing the throttle at times! For start in drifting, is a good car also, very ballanced. ;)
PS: make sure you use manual shifting.. I learned how to use manual when drifting, with a friend Corie (thanks man ;)) and it was a huge improvement! ;)

I tuned this car for the endurance 4h Race Of Nurburgring.
Its a very stable, fast cruiser, tyre saver and enjoyable car to drive there! I loved the race just because of the car!
Cruising, without any risks at any time, you can get safely 6.50.00'm in one lap at the Nurburgring track. But i am sure, with a fast driver, maybe risking a bit, you can get sub 6.40 or 6.35.. ;)
Its a pleasure to drive, very easy! Its my girlfriend car of choice so.. ;P

Greetings for all, good races! ;)

This subaru, tuned for 500pp races, is an all around tune, wich i use for playing ONLINE, and is a very consistent, agile, quick car.. ;) Not the fastest, and probably my tune could be faster, but it is really easy to get good and easy laps, one after another and that for is everything.. ;)

This car is a work in progress.. i think its not my final answer to his bad behavior.. but we will see!

Comment:

Well as I said, its not my final tune.
This car is really badass.. It’s a mob car for sure. He eats his back tyres faster than a dog eating a sausage!!
It still suffers from snap oversteer, some understeer at times, bad braking (not bad braking bias – just bad brakes) and well.. its and heavy car.
I think of it like one of those CRAZY cars from Brabus… Remember the Sl65 from Brabus? Something like that.
Any way, I love this car.. his engine sounds awesome when the real thing pass by, but in game, its not bad either… ;) Enjoy it like a cool, put-a-smile-on-your-face car!

Oohhh...a Brabus inspired Merc...Y U NO MAKE IT MATTE BLACK?! But I am interested in a E55, can't tame one for the life of me. So I might try it assuming my one hasn't pissed me off so much that I sold it.

And also assuming I remember to do so tomorrow.

Ahahahaha :P i was in a grey mood.. xD but i'll paint it in matte-black and post some pics with the final setup! 👍

(but i think i wont change much because, today, i spend some time with it and the car now more stable in every way. It is easier to drive also, but it lost that fun effect of it for me... so don´t think i will post that setup out. I made the car for driving pleasure-fun.. ;) )

Please, say something about it if you do.. :nervous:

Oh alright, but let me have my sleep first, or I'd crash it and that won't do anyone any good.

Edit: Looking at the settings though, maybe raising the rear spring rates a bit would cure some of the snap oversteer, as it seems far too soft. As is the front, for that matter.

Alright…finally got my E55 out of the garage and to your spec. Only difference is that my car retains the full 1.9 ton+ weight and…that's it. Anyway, to cut to the chase, this is a cruiser for the mafia hitman with petrol in his veins. It has none of the crippling handling issues that you describe, at least when driven offline.

- The suspension is fairly soft, presumably to stop you from being shot by Al Capone for spilling his drink when going over bumps, but it does cause some understeer when you push too hard. I'd stiffen the front a tad, just a bit, to try and cure it.

- Snap oversteer is present when you get the timing wrong and when it lets go, you'd have a better chance of surviving a bullet to the head, but for the most part, this really isn't an issue.

- The gearbox is very good for tracks like Trial Mountain, reaching the back straight doing a decent 155mph with room to spare, though you could set it a bit higher for the faster tracks. Bonus for doing this? It'll do its bit in curing any of the snappy handling.

- The brakes, though a bit weak as you mentioned, could do with a higher setting anyway. perhaps 6/5 would be better?

Anyway, to sum up, this is quite the multipurpose car. It's soft and controllable when you go for a late night cruise, but fiery and blisteringly fast when you do your part for the gang and play as the getaway driver you're in a hurry.

Also, keeping it at full weight, the parts list leaves it at exactly 550PP. ;)

Hello mate,

Just to let you know that´s awesome to see a portuguese tuning garage. 👍

Best of luck and hope to see many tunes. :)

Chat you soon. :) (Boa Sorte)

Thank you onboy, i laughed a lot reading your review! ;D it is indeed a mafia car as i wanted it to be xD i am sure now, that those crippling handling issues that i described were from my flamboyance as a mob driver in the moment! however the wheight difference can have something to say also.. ;)

I do recognize those flaws, but for now i cant get my sleeves up and get it done.. i have a lot to study today.. :S when i do it, i'll say you something, and the help you gave me, is wirtten down ;) thank you Onboy :)

Comment:

I tuned this car for a Nurburgring 400pp Shootout Event. It required Confort Soft Tyres, no ballast and power limiter up to 1%.

This car was hard to drive in stock form with a lot of oversteer.
Now it became a easy (still needs some focus to drive it hard) car on the ring, very fast, producing a 8.32.245 lap time with some errors from me, so i think it can be faster with me and a lot faster in great drivers hands.. ;) try it, is really a good fun car.. i am impressed with it :)

PS: i tuned it strictly using DRIVING FORCE GT.. so.. i havent tried it on the DS3. When i do, i'll post something about that.. ;)

I'm a goof and I thought this was the 400PP shootout thread, my bad! :embarrassed:

Edit: I guess I should make myself useful while I'm here. Yes, very interested in rally tunes. :D
