But you are right. Entering this thread and finding the right way is a bit odd. OP should be updated.

I agree, and it must be past its stickying date by now :sly: Anything to reduce the number of threads that keep popping up in the Q&A section asking when the next "***" will appear. The rarest car thread certainly helped in that aspect.

We could do with a fairly extensive OP, explaining as much as can be explained without totally confusing everyone :P
I'm pretty sure Famine's rather on the busy side to write up a new OP, might be easier for one/some of us to write one and copy it across??

Updates made.

ajns73. The credits column in your file had decimal values and excel was giving me an error saying the file was corrupt. Not sure what the issue was but if I need to just round the credits to integer numbers I can do that.

Weird. I copied and pasted that special with values only. I'll up load it again.

Yeah, I'm getting it too when I save it as an .xls file instead of xlsx. There are no formulas in the sheet, but it doing the same thing to my credits column too. Not sure why it thinks there are formulas there. Even check all links to other files and there are none according to Excel.

Just copy the cells into a new workbook and save afresh... Excel does wierd things sometimes :/
And with the credits, you'd need to do a 'round' function to get rid of the decimal places for good... can then copy values across...

Also, have you progressed any further with rob's lists? I may get around to doing a few more later - will list before I do ;)

It is rounded in the original. I just did a fresh copy and same thing when I saved it as .xls. Even gave me a warning that there were formulas dependent on closed worksheets. Used the "Show formulas" button and nothing. Checked the linked files section and there is nothing there.

Aha, error problem is to do with the group definitions - check the Name Manager ;)
Might as well just delete both groups in there, not needed now.

Right you are. Fixed attached. How random on what it decided to copy. There are 3 other named ranges in there that it didn't bother copying over.

Good, good, but yes rather random

Right, since I'm in Excel mode now anyway, I'll jump onto the next zipped batch - IMG 0129 to 0156.
Should cover ML1 days 1874 to 1923.

Alright, Mr. Showoff, I got the next set then: pic157-175

Here ya go... pics 0129 to 0156, covering ML1 days 1874 to 1923.

Clib, where on day 1923 is that ending? If I remember correctly we're offset by 3 cars (that is, your last car will be the third car into 1923).

Yes, 23 days plus 3 cars offset :)

Edit, pic 0158 (your first group) overlaps pic 0155 (my last group) by 6 cars, so we can see the join this time.

TA can sort it when we're done. 14 hours with contacts in and my glasses at work means this gets finished tomorrow.

I was working through what had been posted today and I can't find any post with days 1840-1874 logged (It looked like Clibby was working on it but I'm not certain).

Edit: I'm sure I can figure out the overlap if needed.

I wrote a guide in the other thread https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?t=217964

Yes, see post #1585 - it is buried in the text as I had managed to confuse myself that night. Checked the following afternoon, and the list is good to go.
Just in case, days 1874 to 1923 are in post #1629

Feel free to PM me with whatever you want to suggest.

I'll write up a little something later, and send it to TA, seg, ajns and Duck to have a read and add/modify as you guys see fit :) Duck's done quite a bit of good work in the rare cars thread, so I may take some inspiration from there :sly:
When we think we've covered the important bits, we'll pass it on to you to read Famine :) Does this sound OK??

Ok got those updates incorporated. I completely missed that post Clibby.

If you want to write something up for the OP and send it to me that would be fine.

If you include a part about how people can help out with the db, feel free to use none/any/all of the post linked in my signature.

Hi, of all the files I have on google docs, do you have them all, meaning can I delete some of them ?

Have another small batch to upload, days 2031 - 2057
Cars of note spotted.
day 2033 Toyota MINOLTA 88 C-V Race Car '89
day 2034 Viper GTS R Concept '00
day 2039 Nissan 350Z Concept LM Race Car
day 2041 Ford GT40 Race Car '69
day 2043 Chaperral 2J Race Car '70
day 2045 Tank Car '03
day 2055 S2000 LM Race Car
day 2056 McLaren F1 GTR Race Car '97
day 2057 2D Race Car '67

I'll upload those later (days 2031 - 2057)

Up to ML day 1957 have now been transcribed by aj or myself, believe that's up to pic 0175 (your day 1935).

Hoping to get a fair bit written up tomorrow afternoon, since there's no 6Nations on, and I'm feeling lazy :P

Edit. I'll start the next batch now, so starting from ML1 day 1957 (robs pic 177). Some images look a little blurry, so I'll see how it goes lol.

I think you're soon reaching the point where I started to type my UCD for ML1.
Which was my game day 2075 (offset 8 days +5 cars according to CLIBBY34's calculation)
So that's ML1 day 2083 +5 cars (car #12503 ?)

And I have written (my game days) 2075-2175 . Collected the last 3 days today to get full 100/101
And the game save also reads now : Play time: 2175 day(s :D (# of days skipped = 0)

The text is now in memo file , but I plan to put it in exel and share once it's done.

Putting this up so that you don't have to do the picture taking for those (2083 +5 cars - 2184 +5 cars) ML1 days. (cars #12503-13103)

Hi excellent MadMax86, ok
If they say so, then I'll just go to day 2083 and call it a day 👍

I should be able to get some done over the next 2 days.

Clib, where are you on the last batch?
