Right, checked through the list I generated yesterday - it should be fine. I must have been nodding off or something :P

Had a quick look through the latest photo batch - think all are readable-ish lol. Looks like you have the same problems taking pics of your tv as I do with my android phone :/ Annoyingly difficult to get a blur-free pic...
I'm unfortunately not going to be able to get anywhere with that batch for a few days at least though... hint, hint lol

P.S.
1928 ... CTR Yellow Bird '87 ( I know some people still look for this)
Well, duh, it's amazing :D

Tripod or something the same height as the TV will help.

It's the autofocus on mine that's the issue, have tried standing it on something but get the same effect.
Have to wait 10 seconds plus for it to stabilise... unfortunately I'm not that patient :P Camera's pretty useless at times because of it too...

Anyhow, good to see a few cars I'm looking for coming up soon (yes I already have them once... but there's still some space in my garage

Try putting an object in the frame at the same distance as the screen that doesn't block anything and set the focus for that. If the screen contents aren't out of focus, try snapping it that way and see if it is any better.

Do me favor too. I have a friend who would like to help the UCD but he's having problems getting TA's macro UCD search to work in LO. It works fine for me. Can you open a copy in LO and see if the search works OK for you? I already had him set the macro security to Medium but he isn't getting the prompt to enable macros for some reason.

I can see all the pic's with my glasses on :P maybe that's the answer Clibby lol
I guess it's the auto focus too, struggling to find a point to focus on while looking at a flat monitor screen, with a camera that relies on autofocus, no manual.

robisme, you're doing awesome work! :D

Together with all the other guys here, CLIBBY, ajns, Duck, TornadoAlley (and probably forgetting some, apologies!). ;)

Nice to see an R8 '01 coming up, just as the #51 Viper which I believe I still have to purchase.

The R8 was only to come up way back in day 3500 or something, but luckily it is there in the mix now... :D

Those last 25 cars are proving pretty hard to get unfortunately! ;)

The simple response is that the autofocus is simply rubbish haha. Not just focusing on TV, but general use out and about... but hey, enough of that now haha!!

I finally managed to download the latest LO, but only after uninstalling OO completely. And TA's searchable spreadsheet works fine for me too.

If he's not getting the 'do you want to enable macros' dialogue box even when security is set to medium, maybe he's 'trusting' the author already? Ought to be able to check that in Tools->Options->Macro Security too.
Otherwise, he ought to be able to run the macro directly, clicking Tools->Macros->Run, and then GT5 v2.0...->VBA Project->Module2. Can click run when the Find_Match macro is selected hopefully??

Photography WAS a hobby of mine, before autofocus came to photography years ago lol
Now with this damn camera I have to use, I don't know IF it's going to focus ok or not :(, had to put tape over the flash also, or that would mess the pics up even more with the rebounded glare/flash effect.

Just for your pleasure, I'll move the days on like another 30 or so 👍

I was thinking of doing an enduro race this weekend, hopefully that won't effect the days if I take a couple of days or so on that event ?, should not I guess with them being a max of 1 day.

I believe 1 endurance = 1 game day :) Even if spread out over a week of real time haha!

@aj, Am currently playing with a UCD listing template for LibreCalc, with autofilling drop-down lists. Getting into the swing of LibreCalc easily enough so far :)

Hi robisme. Maybe I missed it, but did you have a file for days between 1900 and 1935?

Most were fine in the first set. There were a couple that even with my contacts and glasses on weren't that legible. :)

Thank you. Just helping out a little.

Fine. It's rubbish. Reminds me of a quote from My Cousin Vinny, "I guess the fxxkin' thing is broken then."

I had him set it to medium purposely to trigger the dialog. He's not getting it, so clearly something is amiss.

Yeah, I think LO is going to be a legitimate alternative for a lot of people. Honestly though, I think OO is garbage. And I dare say it started to become garbage right around the time Oracle got their fingers in it.

ML #2

Found some more differences to TA's list while doublechecking (and buying cars with the help of Duck's catalog :)):

Day 113 - Lancia - DELTA HF Integrale Rally Car '92 - 6.391km (6.341km in list)
Day 145 - Opel - Speedster '00 - Silber (Silver in list)
Day 178 - Mitsubishi - ECLIPSE GT '95 - 31.756km (31.755km in list)
Day 199 - Nissan - 350Z (Z33, EU) '03 - Monterey Blue Pearl Metallic (Monterey Blue Metallic in list)
Day 224 - Subaru - IMPREZA Coupe 22B-STi Version '98 - 44.169km (4.169km in list)

(all without warranty :D)

Have to say I agree. Since I've finally gotten around to installing LO (thanks for the little push :sly:), I'm not going back too OO that's for sure!

And robisme, fantastic work!! There's plenty of guys on GTP progressing beyond the current ML1 list now, so it's going to be very useful :) I'll really try and get some more days logged soon.

@all, feel free to shout if one/some of the pics is slightly too blurry, more than happy to quickly send them through photoshop again ;)

Thanks a lot for keeping doing this, slower than bob.

However, since the longest run in ML#1 is a bit under 1800 days right now, there is a risk of jumping over it entirely by reporting only every 2000 days. If you could do it every 1000 days or 1500 days instead, if you don't mind, then we could maybe determine at some point if the two lists connect to each other.

Clibby, which pic did you stop on?

Got to IMG 0120, which is ML1 day 1840 I believe. If you want to select a batch, I may :scared: be able to log a few more days tonight......

Correction : Reading through thread again, IMG 0120 is actually ML1 day 1874... :sly:

No problem bro :) I think that PS3 is on ML#2 according to a guy a page or two back.

I have two more PS3's, I could post day #1's from those and if one is on ML#1 I could post every 1K or so from that also...(I think that is how it works?)

EDIT: Maybe one of these PS3's is on ML#1...

day#1 left PS3

day#1 right PS3

The first one is from ML#2, around day 40, the second one is from ML#1, around day 83.

I was aware that you had started on ML#2, but we have this hypothesis that both lists are actually part of the same cycle, so we are watching out for cars from list #1 appearing at some point in your UCD. The list being a cycle is also a hypothesis, so we are also looking for cars from the beginning of ML#2 reappearing in your UCD, which would also tell us what the length of the cycle is.

Thanks again!

Updates made.

ajns73. The credits column in your file had decimal values and excel was giving me an error saying the file was corrupt. Not sure what the issue was but if I need to just round the credits to integer numbers I can do that.

Hi, New camera on it's way to me for £180, I'll see what sort of job that does later this week :) (interest in photography, so bought a new camera), never had a DSLR before, only 35mm SLR's before for use with proper film :P
I'll have to go out more to get pics aswell :)

It does not need to be even average to be better than this poxy snapshot camera I have now.

Very confusing, I don't even begin to get it. Not one bit of this original post makes any sense.
Don't you like to find out when a certain car will appear ub the UCD garage ?
Well all this info leads to just that, knowing when cars will show up in the second hand garage (UCD), for the benefit of other's who like to know and often ask, "when will the GT40 '05 show again, I missed it".
Some guys just like to work all this out 👍

Once you know how, you can find out what cars will show and when they will show, calculated on days played on your save.

I hope that's right lol ?

I get the point, I just don't understand the formula.
