Camaros are the problem. Chevy had to make the Camaro to keep up with the Mustang because the Mustang took over the market and Chevy would have died if they didn't. Which I wish they would have.

Besides, everyone knows a 350 would get raped by a 351W.
 
Chevy was doing fine with the Chevy II, Chevelle, Corvette, Corvair, and the Chevette. Camaro was just a ploy because they wanted to take over the pony car market as well as the muscle car market.
 
And then they lost. Sales were stronger for Ford. However realistically, power output was generally the same depending on the year and engine. I'll still take an F250 over a 2500 anyday.
 
I do have to agree with you on that. Ford definitely makes better trucks - I'd personally love a F-350 Diesel. Can't stand the cars, though - my DD is a '99 taurus and every other week something is breaking on it.

I personally prefer a chevy over a ford, as my dad owns a 500 hp 1994 z28 :) but ford makes a good variety of cars. The only car makers i dont like are nissan, honda, mazda, kia and basically any other asian car maker. Just how I was brought up, I prefer a loud V8 anyday over a V6

I like gas over diesel though. They sound better and are more fun. @BT, my truck has 40+more HP than that Z28. Used to have 780hp. You can't tell me that this doesn't sound good. BTW this is a stock 351W. Compare this to a stock 350. You tell me what sounds better.
