Because I am generous and sleep deprived I am offering any car under 1 million credits to anyone who can recreate my Monza race from last season.
This means that to be eligible to win you must qualify in 5th (I think) and finish on the bottom step of the podium in 3rd.
To sweeten the deal, if the person who manages to complete the criteria above also leads a lap (but not most lead) I will give them a second car worth 750,000 or less.

Good luck men. (and boys :P )

How is the event going to be held? Will there be live updates here? Will it be on RFLX TV?

The Nationwide race will run in their normal time slot, with the race starting at 2pm EDT/7pm BST. If RFLX is available to host and stream the race, that would be great. With 15 drivers in the event, RFLX would need to be the host to stream the event.

That race should be over in less than 20 minutes, so we would probably aim to run the Open Qualifying race at around 3pm EDT/8pm BST. I would host the race room, and RFLX could stream it if he is willing and able.

The All-Star Race would likely run in it's normal time slot, taking the green flag for the first segment at 5pm EDT/10pm BST. The second segment would start around 5:45pm, and be over before 6pm EDT.

I can stream any of the races if you guys want me to. Although in the main event it may cause me to lag.

That would be great, if you don't mind streaming the first two races. I think a lot of our guys are going to want to watch both of those races. 👍

I've been in contact with some people about managing to secure a 1-race deal for this weekend. However not looking too great at the moment..

And you never asked me? :(

I've got 2 minor track boundary questions for Monza, but I'll wait until I can get some pictures to help me explain.

I can already guess where these are..

Entry and exit of the last part of Ascari, or turn 9.

First part of last turn 2 wheels on track, curbs are included in track, second part again, curbs are track so when they run out try to have 2 wheels inside the white line. :)

I could be wrong but that's just my 2 cents.

First one is just a general question, but the 2nd one is about the exit of Ascari, yes. Specifically the tarmac outside of the white line when it straightens out.

Sorry, was using WRS rules. So apart from my curbs mistake I'm alright,

If I'm understanding the Ascari question correctly, you're asking about going off to the right side on the straightaway, AFTER the exit of the last in the series of corners, on to the tarmac run-off area that is past the sand.

If so, this is a LEGAL area, since it is not somewhere that provides the ability to cut a corner short and save time/avoid slowing down. Plus, this area is on the OUTSIDE of the corner, after the corner exit, and in a straightaway.

For all general purposes, this is where we stand on corners:

You may NOT put the outside two tires of your car ON (or INSIDE) the YELLOW LINES in this image.

That means your right side tires must never touch the yellow line in the first corner (your left side tires may cross the first yellow line).

The left side tires must never touch the yellow line in the second corner (your right side tires may cross the second yellow line).

You may go as far outside the PINK line as you wish, since it is on the OUTSIDE of the corner, as long as that doesn't again become the inside of a subsequent corner.

Is this clear?

The sum that up, inside tires can use run-off on track as long as you keep outside tires on the track, not the yellow line. In any corner. And any run-off on a straight-away (even coming out of a set of turns) is fair game.

If this is correct and u make a mistake on accident. What is the proper procedure to instantly apply to avoid a 30 sec penalty? I know you need to slow down to re-correct your position. But what's the standard amount of time to go slow? And do u just idle off the driving line or do you come to a complete stop? And if a complete stop, how long of a self-penalty is expected? This question I asked doesn't relate to two car incidents. As if you are in one, you need to pull over or let off to correct that particular situation. This question is for if you happen to just make a mistake on your own.

Second question - should we switch nate11x to Nater_Racing21 in the avg finish spreadsheet. I just realized he had one race in S1 at Indy.

Correct, the outside tires must stay 100% on the track while cornering. The yellow line in this case is imaginary; it represents the inner edge of the black pavement/tarmac.

If you cut a corner on accident (outside tires go inside the edge of the track), a complete stop-and-go penalty will negate any additional time penalty from being assessed after the race. A complete stop means I must be able to see the speedometer read 0 mph in the race replay, even if only for a split-second. A stop-and-go must be served well outside of the racing line, preferably on the side of a longer straightaway. Do not stop-and-go in or near any corner, or in the racing line of the straightaway. If there are cars running right behind you, let off the gas and get out of the racing line to let them go by before you come to a complete stop. A warning over the voice chat that you are about to stop-and-go would be great.

Remember, if you cut a corner because you were forcibly rammed off-course by another car, you will not be penalized. The same goes for running off-course to avoid an accident blocking the track. No penalty.

If you are late on the brakes into the first turn of a chicane, causing you to accidentally cut the second turn, that is absolutely your own fault, and will require a stop-and-go or incur a post-race time penalty.

My hope is that these stiff penalties will encourage everyone to drive extra carefully, avoid penalties, and share the track respectfully with clean side-by-side racing. For those that ran this race last season, I think everyone agreed it was one of the best races we have ever had, from top-to-bottom.

Either name is fine, as long as we realize it's the same person. 👍

So we are not allowed to use kerbs then?

Your inside tires can. Your outside tires are to never cut inside the racing surface in any turn. The curbing is NOT considered part of the racing surface. Keep your outside tires completely on the black asphault/tarmac racing surface when cornering.

 I'm gonna have nightmares about 'corner cutting' and that weird looking picture up above after reading all that. :scared:

Here's the new and improved stats format. This will be updated weekly just like this:

I still need to adjust jtsharkin in Career Totals & provide him a rank. And I need to adjust Nater in Career Totals, he will stay Unranked (only one SC S1 start).

ALL UP TO DATE (EDITED), PLEASE INFORM ME OF ANY INCORRECT DATA

Time to add to Mudd's nightmares. :mischievous:

Is that "Pole Position" that your using as an example?

Don't insult my MSPaint masterpieces. I'm sitting at work minimizing and maximizing MSPaint while my boss walks back and forth.

On page 7, MULE needs to be credited with a second Top 10 result for season 3.

On page 8, I need to be credited for leading in two different races.

EDIT - On your individual driver rankings for each track, it looks like you are grouping drivers together at the top based on number of wins instead of sorting by your Driver Rating stat. I would stick with the driver rating stat, and not move guys up just because of one win at a track. I definitely think putting 4 guys over ACDC at Indy because of only one win each is a mistake. ACDC has 5 top-3 finishes in just 6 starts. His only non-top 3 happened because his chair broke and he fell to the floor during a race. Trust your driver rating stat a little more. It shows ACDC's a better driver at Indy than me, and I believe it.

Ok cool, thanks 👍 And those two errors on my part look right on the career tables? Like, I just tallied wrong in the S3 tables but not the Career Tables?

I'm trying to get this perfected so I can update with ease and get them out on Monday afternoons. Once this looks good, the rest of the Seasons stats will be smooth sailing on out. And I will apply this to NW once I get it right in here first.
