Get ready for an intense championship, featuring 4 different cars on 4 different tracks. Your succes in this race will depend solely on your skill.

General info: The lobby will be opened at 17.00GMT, with the first race starting at 18.00GMT.
Should you wish to participate in the event, you have to sign up in this thread, or by PM to me. Furthermore you have to attend at least one practice session, in order to prove yourself capable of driving clean and fair. There will be plenty of practice sessions to join before the event.

Participants will aquire points based on the position they finish in, in the different races.

1st receives 25 points.
2nd receives 20 points.
3rd receives 15 points.
4th receives 10 points.
5th receives 8 points.
6th and 7th receives 5 points.
8th, 9th and 10th receives 3 points.
0 points for anyone finishing above 10th place.

If you sign up, I expect you to be commited. Should something prevent you from joining, you need to PM me as soon as possible. Furthermore, I expect participants to stay up to date on rules, and to not quit the race under any circumstances. If you can't follow these simple rules, then don't bother signing up. I've had it with people who sign up, only to forget about it the next day.

Event info: This championship is held on four different tracks. All races will be One-Makes, with car model changing for each track. Every race will have tire/fuel wear enabled, with grip set to real and slipstream set to low. Boost will be set to off. For the sake of compitition, grid starting positions will be set to reversed grid, so that the winners of one race, will start at the back of the grid in the next race.

1st. Race: 15 laps with the Lancia Delta HF Integrale on the East section of Chamonix.

Car is to remain stock with the only changes allowed being oil, rims and color. Tires will of course be snow tires, and damage will be disabled. That does NOT mean that one should drive reckless. For this event, all aids including ABS will be disabled. Expect snow.

2nd. Race: 18 laps with the Toyota 86GT '12 on Rome circuit.

Car is to remain stock with the only changes allowed being oil, rims and color. Tires will be Comfort Soft, and full damage will be enabled. All aids except ABS will be disabled.

3rd. Race: 12 laps with the Nissan Skyline Sedan 350GT on the Top Gear Test Track.

Car is to remain stock with the only changes allowed being oil, rims and color. Tires will be Comfort Soft, and damage will be disabled. All aids except ABS will be disabled.

4th. Race: 15 laps with the Chevrolet Corvette Z06 (C6) ’06 on Road Course Indy.

Car is to remain stock with the only changes allowed being oil, rims and color. Tires will be Sport Hard, and full damage will be enabled. All aids except ABS will be disabled.

Rules and guidelines: In my events, you're off track as soon as you have less than two wheels on the track(Tarmac). Should you go slightly off track on rare occasions, it's no big. However, if you go off track by more than a car width, I expect you to slow down, and re-enter. Of course you should always take care not to re-enter the track right in front of other drivers.

You will of course do your best to drive clean and fair. Should you be responsible for damaging another driver, you will escort him/her to the pits. If you obtain damage to more than one wheel, you are required to pit.

Snow  Should be fun!
lol@Topgear testrack, will be plenty of accidents there I imagine, unless the pack stays tight together.

Put me down 👍

Put me in 👍

Love them all but snow, I really really need to do some practice on this one :scared: Still haven't mastered Snow/Dirt driving but it should be fun none the less :D

Driving the Lancia Delta in the snow is tons of fun.

btw. You got a new PSN account MSTER? Which one will you be using on race day?

Hmmm, come to think of it please may you change it to GTP_m8h3r for my PSN name please. Think I'll race on that, I could do with the A Spec XP 👍

Well since my other account is for my drifting / tough team, my other account is for everything else so I will be using MSTER232 on the raceday.

Yeah actually, what are the rules for the Top Gear track?

I mean if someone is half a lap behind the leaders and they are about to crash at the two crossovers do you both just do your best to avoid eachother?

Bear in mind that there are no pitstops at the track either so we have to push our cars to the limits while preserving tyres. That should be very interesting.

Generally speaking, the leading car always have the "right of way". Meaning that the guy behind needs to slow down and let the other person pass. That said, I'm sure people will manage.

And I'd be mighty impressed if any of you manage to burn through a set of comfort soft tires in just 12 laps on TGTT.

If you drive like Jeremy Clarkson they'll be gone in 2 laps

But if you drive like James May, then you will have more than enough thread to last you more than 100 laps.

Alright put me down, this looks very nice, I'm only worried about the rally race cause no abs lol

It shouldn't affect people who normally drive without ABS too much like me and Jawehawk. It should even turn the tables a little bit :) .

Count me in too mate. I only have done a few rally races so far, so thats going to be interesting.

Regards,

MattieM

Rally, yes. Anything else, no.

I asked 7 hours ago! :)

The event has come of to a good start, with 7 people signing up within the first 24 hours. Could it be possible that we'll have a two digit sized grid this time? ahh, who am I kidding.

*'Dat awkward moment when you reply to an old post...*

:guilty:

18.00GMT is 20.00 a clock for us mate. After summer time came into affect, you need to add two hours to the GMT time.

Are you normally one hour ahead of GMT when it isn't Daylight Savings? Otherwise this makes no sense.
